KS95 radio in Minneapolis Minnesota talked to a woman calling into their show recently who admitted that she took her 18 month old nephew into a doctor to have him vaccinated because her sister and brother-in-law did not believe in vaccines. She admitted that her sister did not know she had done this. 

The woman explained that she was watching her nephew for a few days while the parents were traveling, and decided to take him to a doctor and get him vaccinated.

 If I were still a practicing ob-gyn and one of my patients said she was not going to vaccinate her child, I might try to persuade her to change her mind. But, if I were unsuccessful, I would respect her decision. I certainly would not lobby the government to pass a law mandating that children be vaccinated even if the children’s parents object. Sadly, the recent panic over the outbreak of measles has led many Americans, including some self-styled libertarians, to call for giving government new powers to force all children to be vaccinated.

Those who are willing to make an “exception” to the principle that parents should make health-care decisions for their children should ask themselves when, in history, has a “limited” infringement on individual liberty stayed limited…

In October 2014, reports from the Kenyan Catholic Doctors Association sent shock waves around the world. The reports stated that 2-3 million girls and women of childbearing age in Kenya had been vaccinated with tetanus vaccinations containing the anti-fertility hormone HCG, rendering them infertile.

The U.S. Health and Human Services published a 46-page draft proposal and notice in the Federal Register recently regarding more mandated vaccines for adults, and especially pregnant females; employer-enforced adult vaccinations; and probably for getting faith-based groups to uptake and not oppose vaccines/vaccinations.

There is an open public comment period that ends March 9, 2015, for consumers to register their comments, etc. per instructions at this website.

The New York Times reports that Centers for Disease Control (CDC) experts have made a crucial error resulting in possibly exposing a technician to the deadly Ebola virus. The mistake highlights the point of the article (printed below) first published several months ago that disputed the notion of some experts who claimed there was “zero risk” to people in the U.S. from Ebola virus since top, highly-trained health experts in the U.S. were on the job. There is a history of occasional but serious mishaps by CDC experts who handle deadly infectious diseases.

According to the New York Times:

A laboratory mistake at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may have exposed a technician to the deadly Ebola virus, federal officials said on Wednesday. The technician will be monitored for signs of infection for 21 days, the incubation period of the disease. A small number of other employees, fewer than a dozen, who entered a lab where the mistake occurred will also be assessed for exposure.

The Times reports the mistake happened earlier this week when a high-security lab at CDC in Atlanta, working with Ebola from West Africa, sent samples to a CDC lab down the hall. The samples were supposed to be inactivated. But the lab sent out the wrong samples: ones that may have contained live virus. A technician worked with the samples wearing only gloves and a gown but no mask…

Recently, there has been a flurry of reports in the media claiming that women of childbearing age in Kenya have been vaccinated with tetanus vaccinations containing the anti-fertility hormone hCG, rendering them infertile.

The reports came in after doctors from the Kenyan Catholic Doctors Association found an antigen causing miscarriage in the tetanus vaccinations that were administered to 2.3 million girls and women by the World Health Organization and UNICEF. [1]

It’s be revealed many times that pharmaceutical companies and vaccine manufactures purposely withhold critical information and data from the public domain when it comes to their products. One great example (I’ve used many times) comes from documents obtained by Lucija Tomljenovic, a PhD from the Neural Dynamics Research Group in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of British Columbia, Canada. The documents reveal that vaccine manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies, as well as (some) health authorities have known about multiple dangers associated with vaccines, but chose to withhold them from the public for decades. WASHINGTON (WJLA) – Since 2002, the U.S. government has given local health departments more than $9 billion tax dollars for emergency readiness. Billions more have gone to hospital preparedness and related efforts. So why has the U.S. Ebola response been marred by critical missteps?

“I have no doubt that we will control this importation or case of Ebola so it does not spread widely in this country,” says Thomas Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control.

But confidence has been pierced by the CDC’s wavering protocols and assurances, as one case has grown to four.

“At the state, local and even federal level, there have been a series of missteps that literally we cannot allow to happen again,” says Larry Gostin, a global health expert and Georgetown University law professor who is advising Obama officials on Ebola.
