Vaccines: The Battle for Informed Consent#android#iPad#retweet

Informed consent prior to any medical intervention is a basic human right. By definition, informed consent gives you the right to analyze the risks and benefits of the proposed medical intervention then refuse (opt out) of having the procedure performed if the risks outweigh the benefits for you as an individual. The problem is many people seem to have forgotten vaccines are a medical intervention.

SB277 in California proposes to virtually eliminate a parent’s right to opt out of vaccinations for their children if they want their children to attend public or private schools. It seems the authors of this bill have ignored the fact that medicine is not a one-size-fits-all proposition. Every medical intervention poses risks for some individuals. Vaccines are no exception.

This proposed legislation has drawn attention to the issue of parental rights not only in California, but throughout the United States and around the globe. It seems the questions brought to the surface by this draconian piece of legislation are universal.

Parents want to know:

  • Who is responsible for maintaining children’s health – their parents, or the government?
  • Does the government have a right to legislate the use of products for which the manufacturers have been granted immunity from prosecution for safety defects?
  • Does the government have a right to bypass requirements for informed consent prior to the administration of a medical intervention?
  • Does the government have a right to demand parents put their children at risk of experiencing serious adverse reactions, possibly death, to obtain access to a publicly funded education?
  • Does the government have a right to legislate medical care for individuals in the absence of a bona fide public health emergency?
  • Does the government have a right to legislate what some consider to be a violation of their bodily integrity?
  • Does the government have a right to legislate measures that violate some people’s religious beliefs?

What will SB 277 accomplish if passed?

Conversations with pediatricians and other medical providers in California raised the following points:

  • SB 277 is ineffective and unnecessary. If this bill would actually eliminate school-born diseases, then it would be useful. Yet, the science is clear that it won’t. Virtually all cases of measles occurred outside the school environment;
  • SB 277 wouldn’t have altered the course of the measles outbreak had it been in place at the time. The outbreak began at Disneyland – a destination visited by travelers from around the world. SB 277 would have no impact on the vaccination status of these visitors.
  • SB 277 will do very little to eliminate school-born illnesses. The two most common vaccine-preventable diseases that are in schools are whooping cough and the flu. Yet, neither vaccine works well enough or long enough to provide the protection necessary to eliminate these diseases from schools: The CDC clearly states on their whooping cough FAQs that unvaccinated children are NOT the cause of the outbreaks; rather, it is the waning immunity of the vaccine that allows the disease to spread, even in fully-vaccinated children. (Source: http://www.cdc.gov/pertussis/about/faqs.html– questions 5 and 6) The CDC officially estimated this year’s flu vaccine to be only 19% effective. This would leave 81% of vaccinated individuals still vulnerable to contracting and/or transmitting the flu. Even if every school-child is vaccinated, these diseases will spread widely through schools every year.   • SB 277 denies the right to a free and equal education to hundreds of thousands of children.
    This bill was created because of an outbreak that didn’t even occur in schools. While we know 24 of the measles cases were in school age kids, there is no documentation that any actually caught it in the school environment. No immunocompromised children caught measles. The outbreak is long over and we may not see another small outbreak for years to come.
  • SB 277 would deny school for 225,000 children who signed a personal belief exemption last year. Are the rights of such a large group to be denied over such a minuscule disease? Even if SB 277 were already in effect last year, it wouldn’t have prevented the outbreak.
  • SB 277 is unnecessary, ineffective, and unfair. Many who support vaccination also support parental rights to make medical decisions; everyone’s right to a free and equal education; and peaceful coexistence as united Californians.

The proposed legislation in California is not the first attempt to force everyone into compliance with a State ’mandated’ universal vaccination program. There are currently hundreds of proposed bills designed to eliminate or severely restrict the ability of parents to opt out of vaccinations for their children and themselves. Employers are being pressured to make vaccination status a condition for employment in healthcare facilities, schools and daycares (referenced above). Who knows what employers are next on the list of mandatory vaccination targets.

The United States is not alone in this battle. National vaccination policies vary greatly from country to country, but not for long if the World Health Organization has its way.

Australia recently adopted what they term a ”No jab, no play, no pay” policy which restricts access to daycare facilities for the ’unvaccinated’ and takes away financial benefits from families who refuse to comply with the now mandated national vaccination policy. Many other countries are looking at similar legislation.

Isreal followed suit with a ’No Vaccine – No Pay’ policy. Under the terms of the coalition deal, which appointed party member Yaakov Litzman deputy health minister, “the National Insurance law will be amended, such that child allowances will not be given in cases where a parent refuses to vaccinate their child.”

Informed Consent versus Government Control

A line has been drawn in the sand. Parents, families, and a growing body of medical/scientific professionals on one side fighting to maintain the right to informed consent while protecting the health of individuals; government health authorities on the other doing everything they can to obtain maximum compliance with whatever recommended vaccination schedule exists within their purview.

One side claims the vaccine controversy  is settled. They claim the debate is over – the science is in. Unfortunately they are not willing and/or able to provide documentation for their position which was not produced by industry stakeholders.

Fortunately, there is an ever-expanding group of medical and scientific professionals who are willing to come forward despite the personal risk to declare the science is never settled – there is always more to learn. Not only that, they are willing and able to provide compelling arguments to support their position. Many of them are willing to present their findings in open public forums and encourage debate from those with opposing views.

The SaneVax team could not agree more. Science is NEVER settled – particularly when it comes to medical interventions. Open scientific debate is desperately needed. After all, public health is at stake.

Informed consent prior to medical interventions is a basic human right that must be preserved. Vaccines are a medical intervention that are not safe for everyone.

Mandatory vaccination programs are akin to passing laws requiring the universal use of penicillin while ignoring the fact that a certain percentage of the population will have a deadly allergic reaction – inhumane, to say the least.

Therefore, we have compiled various informational material submitted to the California legislators scheduled to vote on SB 277.

On April 9,2015, Michelé Rivasi, European Ecology MEP, delivered a presentation to the European Parliament on behalf of more than 200 European physicians demanding answers to these questions. Ms. Rivasi calls for a parliamentary mission to provide those answers.

It is an honour for me to receive Dr. Philippe de Chazournes today in the Parisian offices of the European Parliament.  Dr. de Chazournes has fought long and hard as spokesperson for doctors in the current scandal linked to the Gardasil vaccine, the famous Sanofi-Pasteur MSD vaccine against certain strains of the human papillomavirus which can cause cancer.  A large number of doctors have signed his open letter to Marisol Touraine, Minister of Social Affairs, expressing their fears around the idea of doubling the vaccination rate of young girls with a vaccine whose effectiveness is scientifically controversial.  Some of them are here today and I thank them for this.  They are demanding a parlementary mission to clarify this question.  Last April, I personally asked for a moratorium, i.e. that we stop mass vaccination with this vaccine until in-depth research can be performed on its benefits, risks and effectiveness.

Vaccine safety is being increasingly questioned as a general rule.  Between 2005 and 2010, the proportion of French people in favour or very in favour of vaccination dropped from 90% to 60% (2013 INPES Peretti-Waterl health barometer).  The percentage of French between the ages of 18 and 75 who are anti-vaccination increased from 8.5% in 2005 to 38.2% in 2010.  In 2005, 58% of doctors apparently questioned the usefulness of vaccines administered to children while 31% of doctors were expressing doubts about vaccine safety.  These figures must surely have increased since then.

Alongside this dramatic slump in confidence, research carried out worldwide – here in France by R. – K. Gherardi and F.-J. Authier, in Canada by C. Shaw and L. Tomljenovic, in North America by S. Seneff and S.-H. Lee, in Israel by Y. Shoenfeld and in the UK by C. Exley and others – blames the dangerous toxicity of the aluminium salts used as adjuvants in vaccines.

The injection of these aluminium salts could be the cause of the considerable and unexplained increase in the number of pathologies because they migrate through the body until they reach and accumulate in the brain.  In certain predisposed individuals, very serious adverse effects have been observed following vaccination: death, convulsions, fainting, autistic disorders, Guillain-Barre syndrome, transverse myelitis, facial paralysis, chronic fatigue syndrome, autoimmune diseases, pulmonary embolisms, macrophagic myofasciitis, pancreatitis and others.

Having seen the work of E3M, an organisation formed by macrophagic Myofasciitis victims, I felt the need to bring this subject up within the European Parliament.  Macrophagic myofasciitis is a little known but extremely disabling disease caused by the aluminium salts in vaccines.

Without being totally against the actual principle of vaccination, I feel that it is essential for our vaccine policy to be specified with the greatest of transparency and that the voices of vaccine victims be heard so that appropriate responses may be given: urgent and heavy research financing and provision of a basic vaccine which is aluminium-free in particular.

I therefore invited scientists and specialists in this area to come speak to us about their work on Gardasil during a press conference at the Parisian offices of the European Parliament, last April.

Over the last seven years, nearly two million young women between the ages of 13 and 26 have received at least one dose of this vaccine, 65% of which is reimbursed by the French Social Security… while its effectiveness has still not been proven.  Since then, an increasing number of young girls claim that it has made them ill and the matter is taking on a European dimension.

Breaking News: Vaccine Tragedy in Mexico#android#iPad#retweet

May 8, 2015: The indigenous municipality of Simojovel, in the state of Chiapas, Mexico reported the death of two babies after the administration of vaccines against hepatitis B (HepB), tuberculosis (BCG), and rotavirus.

Within hours of receiving the vaccines, 37 babies out of a total of 52 vaccinated had adverse reactions; some began to convulse with the tragic result of two dead and 37 hospitalized, 13 of whom reported to be in critical condition.

According to the Catholic organization Pueblo Creyente, the dead included a 30-day-old girl and a 28-day-old boy.

The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) ordered the preventive suspension of the BCG (Tuberculosis), Rotavirus and Hepatitis B vaccine, after what they suspect were allergic reactions to the vaccines administered to the minors in Chiapas.

Although this news has been widely disseminated in the Spanish-language press, it has been virtually ignored by the English-language press.

What is wrong with this picture?

A recent outbreak of measles originating in Disneyland with no fatalities received world-wide media coverage and calls for legislation resulting in a heated battle regarding public vaccination policies.

A vaccination incident in Mexico which negatively impacted nearly 80% of the recipients, resulting in two deaths, 37 hospitalizations and 13 babies fighting for their lives has not been reported to the community at large and is certainly not being reported in other countries, particularly the United States.

Is this lack of media coverage because vaccines are promoted as “safe and effective” and no one wants to tarnish that image?

Is the lack of media coverage because it would negatively impact efforts to make vaccines mandatory and affect the profits of vaccine manufacturers and various other stakeholders?

It is crucial that the international community be informed of these deaths and of the fact that these vaccines have as of now been suspended in Mexico. It is an essential part of the universal right to informed consent.

Mothers in Simojevel are now asking themselves how safe these vaccines can be if they can kill perfectly healthy children within hours, and also leave many more in a very precarious health condition.

The municipality if Simojevel has historically been besieged by drug traffickers with their religious leaders have received death threats. It seems the only state intervention so far has been to promote these vaccinations, with the reported catastrophic results.

Kennedy May Willey’s first seizure took place when she was nine months old, on December 26, 2008. It occurred 8 days after receiving her DTaP vaccination. The seizure lasted over 40 minutes and entailed a dramatic helicopter ride to the nearest major hospital in Texas which was over an hour away. Fortunately, little Kennedy rebounded and within a few hours the doctors wanted to send her home, saying that the seizure that had nearly killed her was a “normal febrile seizure.”

Her mother Dawn knew there was nothing “normal” about it and insisted that they keep Kennedy overnight for observation. A nurse told her she was paranoid, but within five minutes she was seizing again.

Dravet Syndrome Diagnosis

Eventually, two pediatricians, one allergist, one cardiologist and no less than six neurologists later, Kennedy was diagnosed with Dravet syndrome. This was not good news. For parent or child, Dravet can be a terrifying diagnosis.

The prognosis is anything but encouraging, the mortality rate is exceptionally high — 15-20% — with most dying suddenly while asleep, and seizures are severe…

Gardasil: When will the nightmare end?

My daughter, Abbey, was a healthy happy 13 year old when she started secondary school. On the 22nd September 2014 she received her Gardasil vaccine along with the Tdap vaccine in school. She had an adverse reaction straight away. For over an hour, she was left lying on a mat on the floor while the rest of the girls were being vaccinated.

During this time she had seizure-like jerking, rolling eyes, blurred vision, headache, nausea etc. Eventually after an hour and twenty minutes we were called to the school to pick her up. No ambulance was called. The school administrators were not informed this episode had happened until the next day.

When I arrived at the school and asked why an ambulance wasn’t called,I was told I was OVERREACTING and this would wear off.

The next day, her mother and I thought Abbey was suffering withdrawals. Little did we know our nightmare was only getting started.

Two days after the vaccine Abbey returned to school but took another seizure and was taken by ambulance to Drogheda hospital A&E and admitted for six days.

After loads of blood tests, an MRI, and a lot of scratching of heads she was sent home with no diagnosis and no medication. We were told we would learn to adjust our lives and live with the situation.

Six months later, we are still waiting to see a neurologist.

At the moment, Abbey is not attending school because of her illness.  Every day is a struggle thanks to Gardasil. Most days she simply wishes all this would be fixed and she can get back to school.

There has been no help offered from either the school or the health service!!

The vision problems, chest pains and stroke like symptoms continue!! The doctors keep suggesting BEHAVIOURAL problems and panic attacks but we have known our child for 13 years. She has never had any type of behavioural problems as the doctors are trying to suggest.

We have shortened this story a good bit so as not to bore the readers but our nightmare is now over 6 months long…….we can only speculate as to how much longer we must endure.

Thursday, March 26, 2015, TV2 one of Denmark’s national television stations aired a documentary on HPV vaccines entitled, The Vaccinated Girls – Sick and Betrayed. It focused on the condition of 3 girls suffering from serious new medical conditions after being vaccinated against HPV with Gardasil. The one thing they have in common with thousands of other girls around the world is they were healthy before they got the vaccine – now, they are seriously ill.

All three girls have been examined from head to toe with no conclusive diagnosis and no help with their symptoms, much like the girls in other countries where HPV vaccines are being used.

During the documentary, two Danish doctors from Frederiksberg Hospital said they have never seen anything similar to this during their entire careers. Both doctors said they had sent correspondence to the Danish Health and Medicines Authority a total of four times during the last year to warn them of possible adverse events after HPV injections.

Dr. Louise Brinth of Frederiksberg Hospital has personally examined around 80 girls whom she suspects may be suffering adverse effects of HPV vaccinations. She states:

They are all dizzy, they pass out, and so the vast majority of them severe headache – often chronic headaches. They have abdominal pain and nausea. They have weird muscle movements, they cannot control. And they’re very tired….

We see a pattern that screams to heaven, and that should be examined by some solid research.

Danish Director of Health, Henrik G. Jenson agrees but stated:

Yes, there is a pattern, but it is not the same as saying that there is a connection. When we see a pattern in how some reports, there is a basis for making some more explanations, and delve into this stuff. Now, the fact that the vaccine is approved by the European Medicines Agency EMA, and that is, they are the ones who make the safety assessment.

While conducting research prior to the production of this documentary, TV2 requested the Danish Health and Medicines Authority to provide full disclosure of all documents pertinent to the HPV vaccination program in Denmark. Unfortunately, Director Henrik G. Jenson and his staff ’forgot’ to supply the news team with any information regarding the four warnings the Danish Health and Medicines Authority had received from medical professionals in their country.

This HPV vaccine documentary made a huge impact

A closed Facebook page set up for suspected victims of adverse reactions to Gardasil in Denmark reported having 398 members before this documentary was aired. A short two weeks later membership had increased to 938. Because each request for membership is contacted personally by the administrators of the group for verification, there are an additional 40 people currently waiting to be granted membership.

Much to the credit of the Danish health authorities, they are making efforts to respond in an appropriate manner to the crisis they are facing in the wake of their HPV vaccination program. Denmark is divided into five healthcare regions. They have established a single point of entrance in each one of these regions to accept and examine anyone suspected of having a negative reaction to Gardasil. So far there is no official protocol established for the analysis and treatment of those admitted.

Danish health authorities realize that the side effects are extremely serious and want to do more research. Unfortunately, it will take months (if not years) of research to discover exactly what has happened to these girls much less develop successful protocols to treat them without cooperation on a global scale. Where does this leave the survivors in the meantime?

Should the HPV vaccination program be halted until this research is completed?

Are those in charge of the Danish Health and Medicines Authority willing to risk the 2500 serious adverse reactions per 100,000 Gardasil recipients disclosed in Merck’s latest prescribing information packet to try and avoid 12.1 cases of cervical cancer per 100,000?

Are the women of Denmark willing to accept the same risk? Do the women of Denmark think it is reasonable to trade 2500 potentially devastating medical conditions to save 12 people per 100,000 users from the diagnosis of a very treatable cancer?

As a matter of fact, Gardasil was introduced in Denmark in 2009.  In 2008, the youngest woman to die of cervical cancer in Denmark was 30 years old. Three years after the introduction of Gardasil (in 2012), the youngest woman to die of cervical cancer was only 20. Why is this?

Why are deaths from cervical cancer increasing so rapidly AFTER the introduction of Gardasil? Is this not potentially a safety signal that needs investigation?

One of the studies Merck presented to the FDA prior to marketing approval indicated that those who had been previously exposed to vaccine-relevant HPV types prior to vaccination may have a 44.6% greater chance of being diagnosed with pre-cancerous lesions. Could the increased rate of cervical cancer deaths be an indication this study was correct?

The Danish health authorities and political representatives need to understand their experience with Gardasil is not unique to their country. Every country using HPV vaccines is experiencing similar events. This is a global problem.

Vaccines are a medical intervention utilized in healthy populations. The precautionary principle must apply. It only makes good sense to temporarily suspend HPV vaccination programs until all safety and efficacy issues are resolved.

Those individuals who are most susceptible to the risk of serious adverse events must be identified, quantified, qualified and eliminated from HPV vaccination programs.

The current survivors of HPV vaccine injury must be identified, acknowledged and provided with appropriate medical treatment.

Stop sacrificing children on the altar of ’The Greater Good’ – Profit should never trump children’s health!

You may be a bit stunned and left speechless by the clip below.

Doesn’t the surgeon general’s position include health safety?

Did he mention anything about the risks when getting a vaccine if ill? Did he mention anything about the vaccine insert warnings? How about the risks of “vaccine cocktails”?

Maybe part II could include the friendly vaccine ingredients.

I bet little children would be fascinated about how the formaldehyde surrounding dead frogs, in their science classrooms, is included in vaccines or maybe the colorful blue and pink antifreeze that sprays on their daddy’s windshield is also in the “helpful” shot.

This clip is nothing short of embarrassing and I can’t help but think that the repetitive laughing, tickle-me-Elmo would have been a better puppet in this scene.

HPV vaccines: Colombian Controversy Continues#android#iPad#follow

On February 16, 2015, Colombia enacted a new law (1751 of 2015) which establishes human health as an autonomous fundamental right. As a fundamental right, it means services promoting health, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, rehabilitation and palliative care should be ensured under the responsibility of State to all people without distinction of any kind. What this means for Colombian survivors of HPV vaccinations remains to be seen.

Theoretically, this new law would guarantee the victims of serious adverse events after HPV vaccines could receive any diagnostic tests and treatments necessary for them to recover their former state of health at the expense of the government regardless of their health insurance status, social standing, or location. This is particularly true since the government mandated the HPV vaccines which have apparently injured so many young women in Colombia.

Fernando de la Hoz

February 26, 2015, Fernando de la Hoz resigned from his position as Director General of the INS (National  Institute of Health). Despite the fact that de la Hoz held this position for just a little over a year, he claims his resignation had nothing to do with the recent controversy over the multitude of serious new medical conditions occurring after Colombia’s recent HPV vaccination program.

Fernando de la Hoz said his resignation was not related to the backlash from parents in Colombia who believe their daughters are survivors of severe adverse reactions to HPV vaccines resulting from the release of a report compiled by the National Institute of Health (INS) which declared the symptoms to be a result of mass psychogenic illness.

Parents demand action.

March 6, 2015, hundreds of parents of girls with new medical conditions occurring after the second dose of Gardasil marched in Carmen de Bolivar to bring attention to the serious health issues their daughters are dealing with.

March 8, 2015, in conjunction with parades celebrating International Women’s Day and the March for Life, parents from Carmen de Bolivar were joined by others marching in Bogota, Cali, Medelin and Sincelejo.

According to Jaun Carlos Jimenez of the Committee of Parents of Girls of Carmen de Bolivar, all marches were focusing on demands for their government health officials to:

  1. Conduct studies to determine the exact cause(s) of the new medical conditions suffered by so many after the administration of HPV vaccines
  2. Provide adequate treatment for the 800 girls known to be affected to date
  3. Suspend the use of HPV vaccines in Colombia until such time as the safety issues are resolved

Parents of affected girls say government health authorities have eliminated any possibility of real diagnoses and treatment for their children by adopting the theory put forth by a Colombian National Institute of Health (INS) study stating that the vaccine has no relation to these diseases and that they are due to mass psychogenesis.

This leaves hundreds of Colombian parents desperate for answers and treatment protocols for their daughters, parents who believe their girls are survivors of adverse reactions to HPV vaccines.

Independent Medical Professionals Agree with Parents

Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld, arguably the world’s foremost expert on autoimmune disorders, shocked the audience of the III Colombian Symposium on Autoimmunity by stating he would not recommend HPV vaccines for his own daughter.

When asked about the mass psychogenesis theory explaining the new medical conditions occurring in so many Colombian girls shortly after HPV vaccinations, he replied:

Although it is known that there are sometimes panic reactions, especially among women, it is very unlikely that the symtoms presented after receiving the vaccine are due to psychological reasons, expecially if one takes into account what is happening in different parts of the world with the same signs and symptoms.

When we administered HPV vaccines to mice, they had the same symptoms as girls affected. I don’t believe the mice bewitched each other. As with any drug prescriberd to a patient, we must consider whether certain vaccines are needed.

If the negative effects outweigh the benefits, the vaccine should not be prescribed.

For Dr. Shoenfeld, HPV vaccines fall into this category. According to Dr. Shoenfeld, this has been demonstrated in Colombia where hundreds of children are suffering from autoimmune disorders directly caused by the vaccine. Dr. Shoenfeld stated:

If there is a case, or an avalanche of cases, this must be investigated in the proper way. To say it is something psychological or  viral is not enough. You need scientists from different disciplines to analyze it.

We believe aluminum is a toxic substance for the brain. It accumulates, continues this for weeks and months. It’s like a Trojan Horse for the brain. Aluminum is a neurotoxin. Experimental research shows clearly that aluminum adjuvants have a potential for inducing serious immunological disorders in humans. In particular, aluminum adjuvants carry a risk for autoimmunity, inflammation of the brain and neurological long-term complications and therefore can have profound and widespread consequences for health.

According to Dr. Juan Manuel Anaya, director of the Center for Autoimmune Diseases, University of Rosario,

The development of autoimmune diseases is an issue of paramount importance when it comes to vaccines.

The trouble  is that the risk-benefit ratio of developing autoimmune diseases after vaccination for HPV has not yet been resolved.

Remember Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld’s words, ”If the negative effects outweigh the benefits, the vaccine should not be prescribed.”

Merck’s own prescribing information sheet states for every 100,000 people who use Gardasil 2,500 serious adverse events are to be expected.

According to the FDA a serious adverse event must fit one of the following criteria: death, life-threatening, hospitalization, disability or permanent damage, congenital abnormality/birth defect, or the requirement to intervene to prevent permanent impairment.

No Country in the World has a cervical cancer diagnosis rate of 2500 /100,000

Help us save our children

As a matter of fact, Malawi currently has the highest cervical cancer diagnosis rate in the world at 75.9/100,000. No one in their right mind would trade that number for 2,500 serious adverse events per 100,000 vaccine recipients.

When it comes to HPV vaccines, the risks obviously do NOT outweigh the benefits.

The time has come to halt all HPV vaccination programs until the safety issues have been resolved and efficacy has been scientifically proven.
