I was raised like most Americans. Doctors were highly respected in my parents’ home and their authority on health matters was not questioned. My parents followed their physicians’ advice on healthcare and I was no different when raising my own children.

I was careful to follow the health and dietary recommendations when my children were young and I believed that vaccines would keep my children safe from disease.  In fact, I believed wholeheartedly that the more vaccines we had, the better protected my family would be. Out of love, I gave myself and my children every new vaccine available. I consulted with our physicians and with full trust followed their advice.

The Vaccine That Woke Me Up To Vaccine Dangers

After consulting with my trusted obstetrician, who had delivered all three of my children, along with my pediatrician, I made the fateful decision to vaccinate my two daughters with the HPV vaccination series.  Several months later, one child developed a serious case of the debilitating autoimmune disorder, Crohn’s disease, which robbed her of several years of her childhood. We continue to battle this ravaging disease.

It took many years and countless consultations with integrative, holistic physicians before I recognized the link between the HPV vaccination and my daughter’s illness. To be honest, there was only one holistic physician, who specialized in autism, who helped us make this connection. The many others, including a certified functional medicine doctor, failed to connect these two events.

I now believe wholeheartedly that the HPV vaccine and my daughter’s development of a life-threatening autoimmune disorder was no coincidence…

In March 2015, a Danish national television station (TV2) aired a documentary focusing on girls who suspected they had been injured by the HPV vaccine Gardasil. Immediately after the airing of the show, girls with similar experiences started coming out of the woodwork. Virtually all of the girls had the same story to tell.

They began to have serious new medical conditions shortly after using Gardasil so they would go to the doctor. According to Luise Juellund, the vast majority of doctors would tell them the HPV vaccine has no serious side effects and offer psychological problems as an alternative reason for the new symptoms.

Luise should know, her daughter is one of the seriously injured and cannot be left home alone because of daily seizures and hour-long periods of unconsciousness. After disclosing the new symptoms she was experiencing after Gardasil, she was referred for psychological evaluation. Psychiatrists cleared her and she has now been diagnosed with POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) a suspected side effect of HPV vaccines.

According to Peter la Cour, Head of the Center for Functional Disorders in Copenhagen, the practice of refusing girls the opportunity for medical examination and treatment on the grounds that psychological problems can cause similar symptoms is terrible. He states:

The handful of girls I’ve seen has not been mentally ill, but very physically sick and disabled. We simply cannot have sick people rejected under the assumption that they are mentally ill. None of us know anything about why they are so sick. Alleged knowledge of psychological reasons is scandalous character assassination of the young women.

Serious Adverse Reactions Reach One in 500

Denmark is divided into five healthcare regions. On June 1, the government established a single point of entrance in each one of these regions to accept and examine anyone suspected of having a negative reaction to Gardasil. The response was overwhelming.

The influx of girls seeking care was 60% higher than expected, suggesting the harmful effects was greater than Danish health authorities had foreseen. By June 9th, the waiting list to be evaluated was at least six to nine months long. (See map below.) Two of the five centers did not know how long the girls would have to wait.

Jesper Mehlsen from Synkopecenteret at Frederiksberg Hospital is one of the specialists who takes care of the girls. He stated:

We thought it (the serious adverse event rate) was about one in 10,000 people who had side effects. Now it turns out that there are at least two per 10 000. Suddenly it was doubled.

 

WAITING LIST AS OF JUNE 9, 2015

Unfortunately, the avalanche of girls seeking medical diagnoses and treatment after their HPV vaccinations continued to increase.

Only two days later, on June 11th, Dr. Jesper Mehlsen had to revise his estimate of the number of injured girls stating:

A realistic estimate is that one in 500 girls – or 1,000 of the 500,000 vaccinated experience serious side effects.

Dr. Mehlsen helped to research the HPV vaccine and personally vaccinated 3,000 girls. Now, he operates the regional intake center in Frederiksberg and will be in charge of coordinating work across the country. He noted that as of June 11th, 360 girls had been referred for study.

Dr. Stig Gerdes fears this is only the tip of the iceberg. He stated:

It will not it surprise me if we end up reaching several thousand who have been sick. I even stopped administering Gardasil a few years ago, after vaccinating about 100 patients.

More than a handful of them became ill after the vaccine. Several of them very, very seriously and completely devastated.

Is HPV vaccine safety based on mere guesswork?

Danish Health Minister, Nick Haekkerup, and the National Board of Health continue to defend the use of the HPV vaccine Gardasil despite the more than 600 young girls suspected of becoming seriously ill from the vaccine. Both still claim the vaccine is safe and the benefits outweigh the risks.

Experts who are working with the injured girls disagree. Coordinator of the Danish Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s national guidelines for HPV vaccination, Gynecologist Jeppe Schroll states:

We can simply not say because we do not know. There is so much uncertainty in the studies that were made on the vaccine – so it is a pure guess. It may well be that they (the health authorities) are right, but it could just as well be the opposite.

His opinion is reinforced by Dr. Diane Harper, who helped develop Gardasil for Merck and stated:

There is no data to substantiate that the benefits outweigh the risks. The truth is that we know very little about the side effects of the HPV vaccine.

Dr. Schroll suggests that Merck’s own analysis of possible serious side effects is based on a questionnaire which clinical trial participants completed two weeks after the vaccine was given.  In the years since, women are asked whether they have received ’new medical conditions.’

According to Dr. Schroll, this provides a high degree of uncertainty. Some may get sick during the first 14 days, but women who become ill later may not connect it to the vaccine.

Dr. Schroll stated another source of error is that in the last major Danish/Swedish study among a million girls only looked at those with a diagnosis; not necessarily those with a list of symptoms such as debilitating paralysis of the arms and legs, pain, chronic fatigue, sudden daily fainting, daily migraines and dizziness – like the more than 600 Danish girls currently referred for evaluation.

According to Dr. Jeppe Schroll:

I think the reason why they have not found the side effects in the studies is that they have not been looking for them.

Experts weigh in on HPV vaccination policy

Danish GP’s believe one should examine the many sick girls who are suspected to have had adverse reactions to Gardasil before even considering implementing Gardasil 9.

Deputy Chairman of the PLO and member of the Board of Health’s vaccination committee, Niels Urich Holm agrees, stating:

We know too little about the side effects. We fear first, that it (Gardasil 9) might have more side effects than the current one (Gardasil), which has greater side effects than other vaccines. And secondly, we believe that it would be prudent to await the investigations currently going on in all regions to find out about the disease and symptoms we have seen in a number of girls, maybe caused by the vaccine. Therefore, one should wait to introduce the new HPV vaccine, which is being approved for use in Denmark until the five new regional HPV centers have studied the sick girls who received the current vaccine properly.

SF (Socialist People’s Party) spokesperson Ozlem Cekic also backed up the GP’s request that the cautionary principle be applied when she stated:

I do not understand why the National Board of Health is so eager to launch a new HPV vaccine. I think overall that the Agency has behaved foolishly in this case, where they have been too slow to react. We can see that many girls may have become ill by severe side effects. It shall be fully investigated.

She also stated that the Socialist People’s Party will take HPV vaccine issues up politically after the election and shall require deeper insight into the documentation underlying the vaccine.

Health Rapporteur Liselott Blixt of the Danish People’s Party was one of the people who led the effort to get the HPV vaccine Gardasil introduced in Denmark in 2008. She now wants it abolished. She states:

The fact that we have so many, perhaps up to 5,000 young women who suddenly become so sick must have the consequence that we simply stop the vaccine. I was the first who said a big ‘yes’ to it, but now I will also be the first to abolish it, because we politicians must take responsibility for ensuring that we have adopted it. Not least in light of the fact that we do not actually have any treatment options to offer the most sick.

Let’s hope the authorities in Denmark follow expert advice and make sure that young women’s health is no longer sacrificed for the promise of a benefit fifteen to twenty years from now.

No healthy young woman should have to sacrifice her health to see if a cancer prevention experiment will work!

HPV vaccines: Colombian Controversy Continues#android#iPad#follow

On February 16, 2015, Colombia enacted a new law (1751 of 2015) which establishes human health as an autonomous fundamental right. As a fundamental right, it means services promoting health, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, recovery, rehabilitation and palliative care should be ensured under the responsibility of State to all people without distinction of any kind. What this means for Colombian survivors of HPV vaccinations remains to be seen.

Theoretically, this new law would guarantee the victims of serious adverse events after HPV vaccines could receive any diagnostic tests and treatments necessary for them to recover their former state of health at the expense of the government regardless of their health insurance status, social standing, or location. This is particularly true since the government mandated the HPV vaccines which have apparently injured so many young women in Colombia.

Fernando de la Hoz

February 26, 2015, Fernando de la Hoz resigned from his position as Director General of the INS (National  Institute of Health). Despite the fact that de la Hoz held this position for just a little over a year, he claims his resignation had nothing to do with the recent controversy over the multitude of serious new medical conditions occurring after Colombia’s recent HPV vaccination program.

Fernando de la Hoz said his resignation was not related to the backlash from parents in Colombia who believe their daughters are survivors of severe adverse reactions to HPV vaccines resulting from the release of a report compiled by the National Institute of Health (INS) which declared the symptoms to be a result of mass psychogenic illness.

Parents demand action.

March 6, 2015, hundreds of parents of girls with new medical conditions occurring after the second dose of Gardasil marched in Carmen de Bolivar to bring attention to the serious health issues their daughters are dealing with.

March 8, 2015, in conjunction with parades celebrating International Women’s Day and the March for Life, parents from Carmen de Bolivar were joined by others marching in Bogota, Cali, Medelin and Sincelejo.

According to Jaun Carlos Jimenez of the Committee of Parents of Girls of Carmen de Bolivar, all marches were focusing on demands for their government health officials to:

  1. Conduct studies to determine the exact cause(s) of the new medical conditions suffered by so many after the administration of HPV vaccines
  2. Provide adequate treatment for the 800 girls known to be affected to date
  3. Suspend the use of HPV vaccines in Colombia until such time as the safety issues are resolved

Parents of affected girls say government health authorities have eliminated any possibility of real diagnoses and treatment for their children by adopting the theory put forth by a Colombian National Institute of Health (INS) study stating that the vaccine has no relation to these diseases and that they are due to mass psychogenesis.

This leaves hundreds of Colombian parents desperate for answers and treatment protocols for their daughters, parents who believe their girls are survivors of adverse reactions to HPV vaccines.

Independent Medical Professionals Agree with Parents

Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld, arguably the world’s foremost expert on autoimmune disorders, shocked the audience of the III Colombian Symposium on Autoimmunity by stating he would not recommend HPV vaccines for his own daughter.

When asked about the mass psychogenesis theory explaining the new medical conditions occurring in so many Colombian girls shortly after HPV vaccinations, he replied:

Although it is known that there are sometimes panic reactions, especially among women, it is very unlikely that the symtoms presented after receiving the vaccine are due to psychological reasons, expecially if one takes into account what is happening in different parts of the world with the same signs and symptoms.

When we administered HPV vaccines to mice, they had the same symptoms as girls affected. I don’t believe the mice bewitched each other. As with any drug prescriberd to a patient, we must consider whether certain vaccines are needed.

If the negative effects outweigh the benefits, the vaccine should not be prescribed.

For Dr. Shoenfeld, HPV vaccines fall into this category. According to Dr. Shoenfeld, this has been demonstrated in Colombia where hundreds of children are suffering from autoimmune disorders directly caused by the vaccine. Dr. Shoenfeld stated:

If there is a case, or an avalanche of cases, this must be investigated in the proper way. To say it is something psychological or  viral is not enough. You need scientists from different disciplines to analyze it.

We believe aluminum is a toxic substance for the brain. It accumulates, continues this for weeks and months. It’s like a Trojan Horse for the brain. Aluminum is a neurotoxin. Experimental research shows clearly that aluminum adjuvants have a potential for inducing serious immunological disorders in humans. In particular, aluminum adjuvants carry a risk for autoimmunity, inflammation of the brain and neurological long-term complications and therefore can have profound and widespread consequences for health.

According to Dr. Juan Manuel Anaya, director of the Center for Autoimmune Diseases, University of Rosario,

The development of autoimmune diseases is an issue of paramount importance when it comes to vaccines.

The trouble  is that the risk-benefit ratio of developing autoimmune diseases after vaccination for HPV has not yet been resolved.

Remember Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld’s words, ”If the negative effects outweigh the benefits, the vaccine should not be prescribed.”

Merck’s own prescribing information sheet states for every 100,000 people who use Gardasil 2,500 serious adverse events are to be expected.

According to the FDA a serious adverse event must fit one of the following criteria: death, life-threatening, hospitalization, disability or permanent damage, congenital abnormality/birth defect, or the requirement to intervene to prevent permanent impairment.

No Country in the World has a cervical cancer diagnosis rate of 2500 /100,000

Help us save our children

As a matter of fact, Malawi currently has the highest cervical cancer diagnosis rate in the world at 75.9/100,000. No one in their right mind would trade that number for 2,500 serious adverse events per 100,000 vaccine recipients.

When it comes to HPV vaccines, the risks obviously do NOT outweigh the benefits.

The time has come to halt all HPV vaccination programs until the safety issues have been resolved and efficacy has been scientifically proven.

Stop sacrificing our children on the altar of The Greater Good!

Money and profit should NEVER trump children’s health!

The Scary Facts Most Parents Don’t Know About Vaccine Injury Compensation#Family#Android#iPad

Vaccine injures and adverse reactions are massively under-reported, as admitted by the Centers for Disease Control. Estimates show that only one to ten percent of vaccine injuries and deaths are actually filed with the government.

In the United States, the government has created a database to keep track of hundreds of kinds of reactions to vaccinations, including fevers, soreness, seizures, swelling of the brain, arthritis, and death. Since its inception, this program has awarded over $2.5 billion to individuals and families who have suffered vaccine injury and death. These awards are funded by taxes on vaccines.  [1]

Even though health care providers are required by law to report vaccine injuries, most of these adverse events are not made public in this database, known as the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). Parents may not know that common reactions to vaccines, including fevers, long bouts of crying, or rashes following vaccination should be reported to their child’s doctor. When a more serious adverse event occurs, parents may be too overwhelmed to make sure a report is filed.

Unfortunately, rather than educating doctors and parents about the importance of reporting all adverse reactions to vaccines to the VAERS database, the US government has just tightened the requirements for reporting an adverse reaction, making the process even more difficult…

Update: HPV vaccines and the Supreme Court of India#HPV#Vaccines#Android

January 2013, the government of India was ordered by their Supreme Court to file an answer to allegations put forth in a petition filed on behalf of Gramya Resource Centre for Women from Andhra Pradesh. This petition challenged the licensing of Gardasil and Cervarix for use in the private sector as well as attempts to introduce HPV vaccines for use in the public sector. The petition implicated the Drugs Controller for having licensed the vaccines without adequate research on safety and efficacy;  the Health Ministry for not carrying out an enquiry into licensing of these vaccines as ordered by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare in April 2010 and not taking any action on the report of the internal enquiry committee despite all alleged irregularities associated with the PATH project being confirmed.

October 2014, India’s Supreme Court Justices issued instructions for all petitioners and respondents in the ongoing case against to either serve the opposition with copies of affidavits filed and/or file any affidavits and rejoinder affidavits pertinent to the case within the next four weeks. The matter was then set for what was supposed to be a final hearing on January 13, 2015.

When the ’final’ hearing date arrived, several respondents had still not complied with these instructions. At least one of them went so far as to hold their two-and-a-half-foot tall affidavit for presentation to the Court on  January 13th. The Honorable Supreme Court Justices did not seem to be amused.

After hearing the evidence presented on January 13th, Justices Dipak Misra and Prafulla C. Pant issued an order reminding all participants of concerns raised in a prior hearing on 12 August 2014. Those concerns are as follows:

  • Did the Drugs Controller of India and the ICMR (Indian Council on Medical Research) follow proper protocol for the introduction of HPV vaccines prior to the use of said vaccines in the demonstration projects in India?
  • What actions were taken after the submission of the Parliamentary Committee’s 72nd report on August 30, 2014?
  • What were the reasons for choosing certain places in Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh for the HPV vaccine demonstration projects?
  • What actually caused the deaths and other ailments experienced after HPV vaccine administration in said demonstration projects?
  • What steps were taken to monitor the safety of HPV vaccines by the Union of India and the State Governments who have an equal role in guarding the health of the nation?
  • Was proper consent given by the parents/guardians of all girls who were administered HPV vaccines, as the Justices been apprised?
  • What protocol is required to be observed/followed when this type of vaccination program is conducted?

The Honorable Supreme Court Justices deemed it appropriate to grant permission for the State of Gujarat, State of Andhra Pradesh, and State of Telangana to be added as parties to the current case.

The Justices also agreed to M/S Glaxosmithkline Asia Pvt. Ltd. and MSD Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., the companies responsible for manufacturing HPV vaccines, being served as respondents in the proceedings.

Justices Misra and Pant granted permission for the attorneys representing the petitioners to serve papers on the concerned Ethics Committees of all three States involved in the HPV demonstration projects.

In view of the fact that the above mentioned concerns had still not been adequately addressed, some respondents had failed to appear for prior hearings, and others had ignored requests for information or failed to submit affidavits in a timely manner the Justices included the following statements in the current order:

  • This Court hopes and trust(s) that on the next date of hearing, the Standing Counsel of all the States shall remain present and argue the matter.
  • The Union of India shall direct its competent authority to produce the file by which the Drugs Controller General of India approved HPV vaccines for use along with any other relevant documents to the Court and the Counsellors for the Petitioners in this case.
  • Learned Counsel for the Union of India shall apprise this Court what steps have been taken to comply with the recommendations put forth in the Parliamentary Committee’s Report on HPV vaccine demonstration projects in India.
  • Counsel for the State shall file their counter-affidavits within a period of four weeks.
  • The Union of India shall file their counter-affidavit (case #921/2013) within four weeks. Rejoinder affidavit, if any, within two weeks therefrom.
  • By the same time, rejoinder affidavit to the counter-affidavit filed by PATH International to be filed.
  • The Advocate for ICMR shall produce the file dealing with HPV vaccines by the next date.
  • Regarding the ’concept of consent’ and the resultant deaths: it has been submitted that though innovative explanations have been given stating that some girls in the States of Gujarat and Telangana expired due to snake bite and fever, in actuality, it is due to the administration of vaccinations.
  • It was noted that though HPV vaccines were administered for the purpose of experimentation, there is no data with regard to the adverse effects faced by the young girls.
  • Counsel for the Union of India, the State of Gujarat, and the State of Telangana shall state by way of affidavit what the procedure and protocols are to be followed while obtaining informed consent. The stand taken by the Union of India and the States shall be clear and in consonance with law, for the affidavit is not expected to be filed in contravention of that has been envisaged in law.
  • The present public interest litigation has to be perceived from the point of view of rectification and caution for the future.
  • The ’caution’ would convey what steps have to be taken in the future so that this kind of grievances do not arise.

In conclusion, the Supreme Court order states:

Learned counsel appearing for the Union of India and the States of Gujarat and Telangana shall file their respective affidavits keeping in view the directions given herein-above. To elucidate, the affidavit filed by the Union of India shall contain explicitly (i) what steps they intend to take on the basis of the report given by the Parliamentary Standing Committee, (ii) what is the procedure to be followed for the purposes of consent and what steps are required to be taken to find out the sufferings, if any, by the persons who were vaccinated, and (iii) the liability of compensation, if any, to be paid and whose liability it would be.

Justices set the next hearing date for April 21, 2015.

There have been over 37,000. adverse events and 214 deaths from the Gardasil/Cervarix vaccines with no evidence of any benefit from the vaccine.  These figures are off of the November 2014 VAERS report and estimated to be only 1-10% of actual cases.

Judges in India’s Supreme Court have demanded answers after children died during a controversial cervical cancer vaccine trial.

Young tribal girls received shots of pharmaceutical company Merck’s Gardasil vaccine and Cervarix, manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline.

The vaccines are given to girls as young as nine in many countries – including the UK and the US – to protect against the human papilloma virus, one of the major causes of cervical cancer.

But the Indian court yesterday heard a challenge by campaigners who claim the study – funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – failed to obtain the informed consent of the children or their parents.

They say that a ‘study’ carried out for the foundation by a US organisation was in fact an illegal drugs trial.

 The subject of vaccines is extremely controversial. Most individuals have been taught from an early age that vaccines are safe and prevent disease. I wish that both of these statements were true, but I am now convinced, after extensive research and experience, that vaccines do not prevent disease and that they are far from safe.

Tremendous pressure is wielded by physicians, hospitals, public schools, family and friends to vaccinate. You must come to your own conclusions and stand firm, should you decided not to vaccinate. It is imperative to take time to do some independent research on this medical procedure. The health consequences of vaccinations, which include death, cannot be easily reversed, if at all…

Legal precedent in Colombia: Landmark decision for HPV vaccine survivor#Vaccines#HPV#Family

14 November 2014: A 15 year-old survivor of HPV vaccination, living in El Carmen de Bolivar, Colombia, South America, is the recipient of the first judgment issued by any High Court in the country in a case regarding complications occurring after HPV vaccination. In this landmark decision the court ruled that the fundamental rights of this girl and her newborn daughter have to be protected by Colombian health authorities.

According to the High Court of Cartagena (the capital of Bolivar):

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia, the Secretary of Health of Bolivar and EPPS-S Mutual self must deploy, within the 48 hours following this decision, the necessary measures to offer to the girl and her child all specialized medical services they require in a high complexity healthcare institution regardless of any limitations established by the Public Health Plan (POS). In addition, these authorities have to specially follow up these patients’ medical conditions through an interdisciplinary team and verify complaints made by their family about medical side effects allegedly occurred after human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination.

The order further states:

The legal representative of the EPS Mutual Self (the girl’s health provider) must pay all specialized medical services the teenager and her daughter need.

The suspension of the third dose of the HPV vaccine to the adolescent, this decision will remain in effect until the child and family, properly advised, decide to continue with this procedure.

Attorney Monica Leon Del Rio, counsel for the teenager, states:

This young girl began to suffer certain symptoms in March 2014 after the administration of the second dose of Gardasil, supplied by the Government to prevent HPV infections. The young girl still suffers with leg pain, chest pain, headaches, difficulty breathing, numbness in her legs and fainting followed by waking without knowledge of where she is or the ability to recognize who is around her.

Attorney Leon Del Rio’s client in this case is one of hundreds of girls reporting ‘mysterious’ symptoms beginning shortly after receiving the second injection of Gardasil.

According to Attorney Leon Del Rio, this judgment indicates a high level of concern for the citizens of Bolivar and the number of children who suffer serious health complications which may very well  be a result of the use of HPV vaccines.

Monica Leon Del Rio is no stranger to the HPV vaccine controversy. She is the mother of a young woman who experienced paralysis and some medical dysfunctions after the administration of HPV vaccine in January 2013. Her family’s experience prompted this Barranquilla-born lawyer to dedicate herself to making sure other children who have been similarly affected after Gardasil injections are properly cared for.

She is currently representing at least 50 other girls from El Carmen de Bolivar who are exhibiting new medical conditions after using HPV vaccines. Her mission is to ensure survivors of HPV vaccinations receive proper medical diagnosis and treatment.
