As an employee of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), it is certainly within Dr. Mark Schiffman’s job description to write articles promoting human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines. After all, his employer owns patents on HPV vaccine production technologies and receives licensing fees from the sales of HPV vaccines.
The HPV vaccine, Gardasil, based largely on technology developed at NIH and produced by Merck & Co., was approved by the FDA in June 2006. As early as Feb 2007, an article was published in The NIH Record, titled, From Lab to Market: The HPV Vaccine proclaiming, “Perhaps no other recent product on the market demonstrates successful health care technology transfer better than the HPV vaccine.” What a great commercial success!
The NIH, funded by taxpayers, also maintains a forum for scientific discourse, called PubMed Commons which hopefully “will leverage the social power of the internet to encourage constructive criticism and high quality discussions of scientific issues that will both enhance understanding and provide new avenues of collaboration within the community”.
January 19, 2017, the eminent pathologist Dr. Sin Hang Lee commented via PubMed Commons stating:
Schiffman and colleagues finally admitted in the end of the abstract that implementation of HPV vaccination and screening globally remains a challenge. However, the authors did not present the whole truth required for a balanced analysis.
It took nearly a month for Dr. Mark Schiffman to respond to Dr. Lee’s public comment with reassurances that the efficacy and safety profile of Gardasil had been well established.
Five days later, Dr. Lee responded to Dr. Schiffman saying:
Dr. Schiffman’s responses to my initial comment on the Primer needs rebuttal to point out its misleading and obfuscating statements.
Almost immediately, the discussion was effectively shut down by the removal of Dr. Lee’s comments. Does this not seem like a gross violation of the public trust in an organization such as NIH which has promised to ‘encourage constructive criticism and high quality discussions of scientific issues’?
Is it not a serious conflict of interest for NIH moderators to remove Dr. Sin Hang Lee’s dissenting comments from a site that is supposed to be promoting high quality scientific discussions?
The full text of the comment, response and rebuttal was downloaded before removal by one of the readers and can be read here.
Dr. Lee said he is discussing a very serious scientific medical issue. He did not find any inappropriate language in his comments or rebuttals.
Therefore, on behalf of thousands of families around the world dealing with serious new medical conditions after Gardasil administration, the SaneVax team requests that NIH moderators restore the original comment, response and rebuttal to the PubMed Commons’ website. It is in the public’s best interest that Dr. Schiffman and Dr. Lee continue their scientific debate.
Alternatively, the NIH moderators must publicly publish valid reasons for the removal of Dr. Lee’s comments.
In the words of Winston Churchill:
In science you don’t need to be polite, you merely have to be right.
Open, honest debate is the only way to restore public confidence. Censorship will not work.
The evidence shows that the 2014-2015 influenza vaccine was an unmitigated failure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) itself admitted that last year there had been considerable “drift” in the influenza strain most commonly in circulation: The A (H3N2) type unexpectedly predominant had not been predicted by those who were deciding on which strains to include in the 2014-2015 annual flu vaccine and so that A type strain was not included.1
The CDC has predicted that this year’s formula will more closely match the circulating strains, but the make-up of the vaccine is, at best, an educated guessing game, with decisions made long before flu season hits to give manufacturers time to produce and distribute enough of the vaccine to cover the world. We’re now watching carefully this season.
How will the 2015-2016 vaccine fare? Is it worth exposing ourselves and our children to the potential side effects of another vaccine that may not help very much?
An Early Report Suggests a Repeat Failure for 2016?…
…Checking first with the CDC’s most up-to-date influenza information, it was simple enough to confirm that the predominant type of flu seen so far this year is still the A (H3N2) strain of influenza. However, after that, the media coverage of the “facts” about this year’s influenza vaccine suddenly didn’t correspond with what the CDC was telling the public…
You’ve likely heard of the hotly contested California mandate that was signed into law this year requiring the vaccination of all children in the state in order to attend public school. (no exemptions, religious or otherwise)
It established a terribly alarming precedent that will surely be followed by more bold attempts at forced medical procedures and drug interventions on everyday citizens.
It’s happening right now as hospitals to force employees to receive the infamous flu vaccination, often at the threat of losing their job.
I am amazed by the solidarity these strong willed people have shown.

A New Jersey social service agency has followed through with its threat to fire three office workers over their refusal to get a flu shot or, as an alternative, wear a surgical mask while in the company’s Burlington Township headquarters, an attorney for the women said.
Alanda Watson, Megan Duncan and Denise Mercurius, who worked in the accounting and billing departments at Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, were suspended without pay last month for failing to follow the flu-prevention protocol, which went into effect in June.
A simple blood test. No risk of an adverse vaccine reaction or over vaccinating, let alone the stress that pets incur during a vaccination.
Some vaccines can last up to the life of the pet.
If your vet charges in the hundreds for a titer test, then keep looking. I have seen prices in the $30. to $50. range.
It would make sense for city and state licensing offices to accept verification of titer antibodies in replacement of annual rabies shots.
Our towns are better off with healthy, happy pets.

…Side effects from vaccinations range from mild itching and swelling to anaphylactic shock leading to death. Cats may develop vaccine sarcomas, which are cancers that develop at the site of the injection. And dogs may develop certain autoimmune diseases.
Veterinarians have suspected for years that annual vaccinations for cats and dogs aren’t necessary, but large, well-controlled studies just didn’t exist to prove it one way or the other. With the exception of rabies vaccine, the U.S. Department of Agriculture doesn’t require data beyond one year for any vaccine.
With that being the case, vaccine manufacturers arbitrarily recommended annual vaccinations, and most veterinarians, concerned about liability issues, concurred…
…There’s also an advantage to giving single rather than combination vaccines. “Giving more vaccinations increases the likelihood of side effects,” Welborn says. “Separating vaccinations allows the veterinarian to determine which vaccine caused a side effect if one occurs.”
If you’re concerned that your dog or cat will develop a vaccine-related health problem, but you want to make sure they’re protected against disease, annual titers are an economical alternative.
They’re reliable and costs are comparable to those for vaccinations….
Here are some of the possible side effects following a rabies shot. Since we now know that side effects are more common than thought, including future sarcoma cancers at the injection site and life-long autoimmune diseases, wouldn’t it be wise to just do annual follow-up titer tests, rather than subject our pets to the following side effects for annual rabies shots?

I’m very happy to be able to share a bit more encouraging news regarding rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats.
Very recently I reported the results of a study performed by Kansas State University (KSU) that compared “anamnestic” antibody responses of dogs and cats with current vs. out-of-date rabies vaccinations. The animals in the study were given rabies boosters (“booster” is simply another name for a re-vaccination), and then given antibody titer tests to see if the group with current vaccinations had higher titers than the group with out-of-date vaccinations.
The study authors’ conclusion:
“Results indicated that dogs with out-of-date vaccination status were not inferior in their antibody response following booster rabies vaccination, compared with dogs with current vaccination status.
Findings supported immediate booster vaccination followed by observation for 45 days of dogs and cats with an out-of-date vaccination status that are exposed to rabies, as is the current practice for dogs and cats with current vaccination status.”1
What this shows is there is no health-related reason to mandate long-term quarantine or euthanasia for dogs and cats with expired rabies vaccinations that are exposed to a rabid animal…
I am 16 years old. For me, everything started a few days after I received the HPV vaccine, Gardasil. I woke up one day choking and unable to breathe. I felt like I was going to pass out so my parents took me to a hospital. I was stabilized, kept overnight and sent home, just like that. No tests, no medications, no explanations as to what could have caused the problem. This was only the beginning.
First it was just trouble with breathing, nausea, and feeling faint. Every doctor I saw dismissed me with, “Well, you’re breathing now.”
Then it progressed to choking, hyperventilating, panic attacks and soon enough I was getting panic attacks every day, sometimes as many as four times a day.
Then the depression came. This is going to be hard to talk about, as it still triggers a lot of anxiety and depression in me, but I will try my best to tell as much as I can.
Going to psychologists and psychiatrists didn’t help at all. All they ever told me was to “take a relaxing bath,” “light some nice smelling candles” and “go out with friends”. I tried all those things. I tried every single thing they told me to try and yet none of it worked. Still, they didn’t seem to care about that and kept telling me to try the same things again and again.
Many times I’ve been told to “think about all the people that have it worse than me” and many times people laughed after I expressed my thoughts or feelings about a certain topic.
The psychologists were late to every appointment and talked about everything with a passive attitude as if I was exaggerating and making everything up.
One of the doctors at a hospital told my parents the reason all this was happening to me was because I’m “troubled.” She said it even though I was in the room.
Another doctor stood by my hospital bed as I screamed and cried in pain because of back spasms and watched me for about ten minutes before simply walking away. I didn’t receive any help that time, no painkillers, nothing. I just stayed in my bed until the spasms passed.
A few months later Dad and I went to the same doctor for a check-up. As he flipped casually through my medical file he said “I don’t have any record of pain written down here from that time” and shrugged his shoulders.
Another doctor, a substitute for one of my psychologists, was somehow convinced that my parents were abusing me regardless of the fact that I told him that wasn’t the case every time we met for an appointment.
Every doctor we went to dismissed us and tried to get rid of us.
Overall, I just felt useless, hopeless, and broken. I felt guilty – like all that was happening was my fault somehow. When I didn’t feel like crying my eyes out, I felt completely nothing and sat still, staring off into space.
The amount of times I imagined myself dying is terrifying. I was scared of myself. I was scared that I would lose control and start screaming and breaking everything around me from all the pain, terror and anger. Yes, I was angry – I was really angry! Angry that my feelings were so easily dismissed, as if they were something you can pick up, explore for a little while and toy with a little, before being thrown in the trash.
When it comes to physical symptoms…there were a lot. There still are, they still come back every so often.
There were hallucinations of a girl named Trillion who hit me. There were episodes where my body would switch itself off and I’d be left unable to move, speak, swallow, blink and yet still able to feel and hear everything around me. That could last from ten minutes to eight hours. My legs would become paralyzed, for periods lasting from thirty minutes to four days.
I couldn’t go out at all, unless I wanted to risk an anxiety attack so bad I would have to return home within half an hour of being out of the house. Being around people made me anxious, it still does.
Once I felt so bad, so depressed, and so angry that I cut into my arm with a needle. I regretted doing that instantly. I still get an urge to do it, though it’s faint.
I genuinely had to force myself to want to live. I wanted to disappear. I wanted all of the symptoms to stop.
Now without a doubt, I can say that I am a lot better. I have been taking homeopathy remedies for a few months. They have helped more than all of the anti-depressants I was prescribed for two years.
Perhaps soon I can leave Gardasil and the past behind me. Maybe I can have a normal life after all.
Lidia, thank you for writing your story. You are a brave girl.
It is hard to hear that you are sixteen and enduring this trial at this time of your life.
You have been let down by many in the medical field, I am sorry for this. This is not the way anyone should be treated, let alone at your age. I am amazed at how strong you are.
The good news is that you can help guide others through sharing this story.
There are also health practitioners that have listened to the quiet guidance within and have found ways to heal, at different levels, those who have been injured. If you contact any of the physicians in the links below, I think you will find them to be far more understanding and helpful than your previous experiences. I can’t say enough about these practitioners.
Sane Vax has aMedical listingand this is a link to my Featured doctors, who have experstise in working with individuals who have encountered vaccine injuries. Distance is not an issue with many of them. Just feel free to send them an email.
I would love to hear how things go. I am a big fan of homeopathy and am happy to hear you have found some remedies that are working out well for you.
Remember to keep your Creator at the helm and you will have all the guidance you will ever need.
Just know that many of us are praying and cheering you on from all around the world.
Here’s a little artistic clip that I hope takes your mind off things for awhile.
