The evidence shows that the 2014-2015 influenza vaccine was an unmitigated failure. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) itself admitted that last year there had been considerable “drift” in the influenza strain most commonly in circulation: The A (H3N2) type unexpectedly predominant had not been predicted by those who were deciding on which strains to include in the 2014-2015 annual flu vaccine and so that A type strain was not included.1 

The CDC has predicted that this year’s formula will more closely match the circulating strains, but the make-up of the vaccine is, at best, an educated guessing game, with decisions made long before flu season hits to give manufacturers time to produce and distribute enough of the vaccine to cover the world. We’re now watching carefully this season.

How will the 2015-2016 vaccine fare? Is it worth exposing ourselves and our children to the potential side effects of another vaccine that may not help very much?

Vaccinating Without Parental Knowledge Soon To Become The Norm Across The World#android#iPad#retweet

Health officials in the U.S, U.K, Canada, Australia and around the world are officially crossing into dangerous territory with parents when it comes to vaccinations. Not only are public health entities habitually and deliberately failing to inform the public of their right to refuse vaccines in both school and work settings, but they are working towards mandatory vaccination protocols which will allow officials to conduct childhood vaccinations without any parental consent at all.

It was just a little over one year ago when the pharmaceutical industry, the Department of Health and Human Services, and Centers for Disease Control allocated millions of dollars in funding to establish vaccine clinics in public schools, causing a huge uproar from concerned parents.

The RAND Corporation, paid by Sanofi Pasteur, outlined how to turn schools into vaccine clinics, which critics claimed will inevitably poison children with multi-dose vaccines.

You’ve likely heard of the hotly contested California mandate that was signed into law this year requiring the vaccination of all children in the state in order to attend public school.  (no exemptions, religious or otherwise)

It established a terribly alarming precedent that will surely be followed by more bold attempts at forced medical procedures and drug interventions on everyday citizens.

It’s happening right now as hospitals to force employees to receive the infamous flu vaccination, often at the threat of losing their job.

I am amazed by the solidarity these strong willed people have shown.

A New Jersey social service agency has followed through with its threat to fire three office workers over their refusal to get a flu shot or, as an alternative, wear a surgical mask while in the company’s Burlington Township headquarters, an attorney for the women said.

Alanda Watson, Megan Duncan and Denise Mercurius, who worked in the accounting and billing departments at Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, were suspended without pay last month for failing to follow the flu-prevention protocol, which went into effect in June.

Three decades ago, Congress created a federal vaccine injury compensation program (VICP) and gave the pharmaceutical and medical trade industries a partial product liability shield under the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986. The goal was simple: to restrict civil lawsuits against vaccine manufacturers and negligent doctors whenever government mandated vaccines injure and kill Americans. 1

In the 21st century, Congress went further and directed federal agencies to develop a public-private business partnership with the pharmaceutical industry. 2 3 Today, multi-national corporations marketing vaccines enjoy a $15 billion dollar U.S. and $30 billion dollar global vaccine market that will reach $100 billion in 10 years. 4 5

At the same time, Congress appropriates billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to federal agencies working with Big Pharma to develop hundreds of new vaccines, 6 7 while vaccine licensing standards have been lowered so companies can fast-track experimental vaccines to market. 8 9 Meaningful congressional oversight on vaccine regulation and policymaking is non-existent today, in part because the pharmaceutical industry is the number one wealthiest and most powerful lobby on Capitol Hill. 10 11 12 13

Obtaining Vaccine Injury Compensation: Do You Feel Lucky?

Parents, who file a claim today on behalf of a brain damaged vaccine injured child in the federal vaccine injury compensation program (VICP) under the 1986 Act, know that the odds of obtaining financial assistance from the government are not much better than the odds of winning a lottery. 14 Department of Health and Justice officials fight almost every award in the U.S. Court of Claims so two out of three vaccine injury claims are denied. 15

…In 1994, a song written by a jam band called Blues Traveler came out and was played in clubs and on radios across the nation.  It made the top ten charts and remains one of the most memorable songs from the 1990’s.  That song was entitled Hook and the lyrics of the song assert that even if what a singer sings about is effectively meaningless, listeners will keep coming back to it so long as it’s articulated in a way that makes listeners feel “some inner truth of vast reflection” is being conveyed.  Most listeners didn’t even pay attention to the lyrics, but sang along anyway.  Well, folks, that’s exactly what’s been happening recently with an article on vaccinations that’s been making the rounds lately.  Welcome to information age, where a blog post can be shared all over cyberspace and receive over 10,000 “likes” on facebook and say very little that is actually useful.

Entitled “Dear parents, you are being lied to,” Jennifer Raff lists all the vaccination-related arguments she’s heard over the years from (presumably) those who choose not to vaccinate (she simply addresses a collective “they.”)  What makes this article so appealing is that she doesn’t bog us down with details.  She simply lists her points statement-rebuttal style and includes a few links to her pro-vaccination statements.  The problem with this is that when you take the time to dig down into the details, you soon realize she’s wrong.  By exaggerating the information cited in each argument, she makes what is (judging by the popularity of the article) an apparently compelling argument to those unwilling to dig deeper, but is essentially a straw man once the surface is scratched….

“In light of recent outbreaks of measles and other vaccine preventable illnesses, and the refusal of anti-vaccination advocates to acknowledge the problem, I thought it was past time for this post.”

“Recent outbreaks” according to the linked article: 189 (out of roughly 300,000,000) people in 2013.

To put this in perspective, that’s 1 out of every 1,500,000 (1) in the United States.  That’s hardly an epidemic.

The last report issued in 2013 by the Department of Justice (Vaccine Court), for compensation made by the Health and Human Services for people injured or killed by vaccines, was released in December 2013, covering the period of 8/16/2013 through 11/15/2013. The report is available as a Power Point presentation here.

There were 139 claims settled during this time period, with 70 of them being compensated. So, just over 50% of the claims filed for vaccine damages were compensated during this period.

Once again, the greatest percentage of damages compensated were for the influenza vaccine, and most of those were for Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). Yet these facts, tucked away in a file on the Department of Health and Human Services website, are never reported in the mainstream media. So we will report them here. You can also read the report yourself in the Power Point file here.

Of the 70 cases compensated, 42 of them were for the flu vaccine, or 60% of the cases settled where compensation was awarded for injury or death due to the vaccine. The combined total of the other 40% of cases settled included the following vaccines: Hep B, Tetanus, HPV, DTaP, MMR, IPV, PCV, Hib, Meningococcal, Varicella, TD…

…So injuries and deaths due to the flu vaccine were compensated more than the total compensation paid out to eleven other vaccines. Yet, if you look at the top selling vaccines in the market, the top flu vaccine is only #5, being outsold by Prevnar, Gardasil, PENTAct-HIB, and Infanrix/Pediarix. (Source.)

In recent years, information about compensated vaccine injury claims published in the VICP Data and Statistics Report has changed – but not for the better. This report prepared by DHHS officials continues to provide limited insight into vaccine injury and death awards, despite the fact that federal law states the public has a right to additional information,1 much of which is presented in bits and pieces during ACCV meetings.

Under the 1986 law, the public is entitled to the following information about VICP vaccine injury and death petitions:

  • the number of petitions filed with the VICP and their disposition, the dates of when vaccine-related injuries and deaths occurred;
  • the types and amounts of awards; and,
  • the length of time for the disposition of petitions;

While DHHS gives some of this information to the ACCV on a quarterly basis, the information is not as meaningful as it could be because of the way it is presented in ACCV meetings and on the VICP’s website. There is no ability for the public, or the ACCV for that matter, to connect the dots between vaccine injuries compensated by vaccine and condition over time, or to determine the reasons and any associated trends on why petitions are dismissed and claimants are denied compensation…

…November 20th, Christopher was supposed to pick his girlfriend up at the Frontrunner station and when he didn’t show up and she couldn’t reach him she called one of his friends who called me. I called his roommate who found him. He had passed away in his sleep.

That was the day my world stopped.

We spoke with the medical examiner about his medical history several times over the next two months looking for a cause. The only thing that was out of the ordinary was the vaccine. She called us on February 10th to say she thought the cause of death would be “unknown” but they were going to do one more test on his heart. (I remember the date. Christopher’s birthday is February 11th).

We finally received the autopsy results in mid-February 2010. Cause of death:  Viral Myocarditis. The medical examiner said it was the “flu” he had in October. I reminded her he had not had the flu; it was the vaccine he had in October…

…He studied environmental law at Westminster College for one year but decided he didn’t want to be a lawyer.  He said there were too many rules; he wanted to use his creativity and pursue a degree in his first love, architecture.  So he transferred to Utah State University in August 2009. On October 15, 2009 he flew to Oregon with his dad to look at schools. He wanted to start with a civil engineering degree and then pursue a degree in architecture with an emphasis in sustainable architecture…

What a sad loss.  My condolences to this family. You can tell Christopher is just an amazing son.  I am so sorry.

Thank you for getting the word out and yes these type of reactions are becoming commonplace world-wide.

I am certain that your story will help another family from going through this same pain as you have.

I do believe you will be reunited with him one day.
