Gardasil: We thought it was the right choice#android#iPad#retweet

By Gayle Dickson, Auckland, New Zealand

We thought Garasil was the right choice.

Essentially, our lives rocked along with the usual family squabbles, snotty noses, heat rashes and teenage pimples … nothing really major to concern ourselves over. Until the youngest, our daughter, started at College! Then all hell broke loose! In her final primary year (Year 8), we’d received notices regarding Gardasil. I was about to toss them in the bin, when the words “cervical cancer” caught my attention. My skin prickled and my eyes widened – we have a great deal of female cancer history on both my side and hubby’s maternal side … breast, ovarian, cervical … so I read on! I then did some very basic research, going onto Merck’s site, discussing it with friends etc.

Some friends cautioned outright against it; others were 50/50 and still others were, like: Why wouldn’t you if it can prevent cancer? Given that I couldn’t find anything specifically negative in my searches at that time, we came to the conclusion that we should go ahead.

There was no immediate reaction to the vax … even after the third shot …. Apart from the odd sore arm, short term headache and a slight feeling of not being quite right, but we ignored that as normal for vaccinations. She left primary and went off to college … vibrant, healthy, getting good grades, participating in all manner of sports and, often to our mind, taking on too much!

About six months later, things began to crumble … she complained most nights about being extremely fatigued to the point where she was in bed by 7.30 every night. Okay, she was always an early-to-bed-early-to-rise girl… But this was beyond even her capacity for sleep!

We then noticed that she was starting to wake tired, too. It wasn’t long after that when the nagging nausea started. Then she started slipping with her grades and we succumbed to extra tutoring. She kept complaining of “not being able to pay attention or keep up” and saying things like “I’m just so stupid, mum!”  Initially, we told her that she was now in college and needed to buck up her ideas, work harder, etc.

Visits to the GP were fruitless…. endless blood tests, urine and stool samples etc … all proved nothing. They just kept stone walling us with more and more scripts that achieved nothing and, in my opinion, exacerbated the issues! Most times, they merely concluded that it was all in her head!

By now, the joint pains had started, too. We wrote these off to her demanding regime competing nationally and internationally at cheerleeding, and berated her for not being fit enough and not working on her core strength enough.

Eventually, about 3 years ago, we went off to see an iridologist who’d worked wonders for a friend with gut issues. He took one look at my daughter’s ridiculously blue eyes and said her acid levels were off the scale. He immediately commenced a detox program and had her off dairy, gluten and sugar in a flash. We plodded through this regime for 3 months, slowly noticing an improvement in her attitude, behaviour and energy. Phew, we thought, things were back to normal. Even when we were able to resume a normal diet, we did however, stick to the gluten-free aspect as that seemed to set her off again when re-introduced to her diet… but sugar and dairy came back in with no adverse reactions.

Sadly, the peace and quiet didn’t last. It wasn’t long before the nausea and fatigue crept back again, only this time it was accompanied by anxiety and depressive bouts, too. The GP had prescribed about four different anti-nausea tablets, none of which really helped and three of which make her so tired she couldn’t take them at school for fear of falling asleep at her desk! He then put her on The Pill – according to him, this might help regulate hormonal imbalances! He gave her Losec and other antacids.

In fear that we were facing cancer or something just as evil, we requested a gastro scope only to be told the wait list was six months. A ranting mother in a doctor’s waiting room can work wonders – we were in within weeks instead! However, that showed clear – no lumps, blockages that we need concern ourselves over – the stomach and duodenum appeared normal. Biopsies were taken with a cold forceps for Helicobacter pylori testing so that they could do an evaluation for coeliac – bearing in mind she’d lost about 10kg over about a year through not wanting to eat most of the time. Those results are now in, and she’s clear of Coeliac.

Frustrated beyond all belief, I went to see a holistic GP – not a cheap exercise, but we were at wits end. Within minutes of our consult with him, he asked if she’d had the Gardasil vax … OMG, light bulbs exploded in my head, my heart raced and my hands went clammy! Really, was it that simple?

Haha – simple? I really kidded myself with that one, didn’t I?

He did some further questioning and honestly seems to believe her symptoms are all related … and the timing certainly is impeccable. She wasn’t his first, it seemed – there had been quite a few … and his alarm bells were geared to look out for the symptoms.

The hair analysis he ordered showed a sensitivity to dairy. The bloods he ordered showed that her iron levels were “depleted” – not even a number alongside – they’ve just recently gone up from 6 to 13 – the first time an iron supplement has actually absorbed within her since this whole mess started thanks to having them injected rather than taking oral supplements!

For the last few months, he’s been working with us to boost her immune system, clean out toxins and generally fix what didn’t actually need to be broken in the first place. He has been fantastic in terms of providing me with information on Gardasil as well as other vaccinations.

We are intravenously injecting Vitamin C (which can at times make her feel awful as her blood pressure is horrendously  low post-Gardasil). We’re are also taking SA (Sodium Ascorbate powder) in high doses, as well as Lypospheric Vitamin C.

I inject her with B12 every couple of weeks. She’s on the following supplements: Vit D, iron, magnesium, St Mary’s Thistle, NAC and Ashwaganda. She’s also started on Sacromyces Boulactis, aloe concentrate and Kombucha, and a host of others I can’t recall right now – suffice to say, I thank heavens for iHerb.com!. We have managed to secure some very generous donations through a Give A Little page set up by a friend (https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/tawnidickson) without which we may not have been able to continue with some of her expensive treatments.

We are attempting reflexology and acupressure points to ease the constant nausea, as well as seeing Anthony and Fay at Stillpoint for a variety of osteophathy sessions – one to help relax and the other to detox the aluminium deposits. She’s also seen a wonderful kinesiologist who is helping with the pain and tension in her backs and shoulders.

We have also been dealing with outbreaks of boils (which have now appeared to stop thanks to upping her B12 levels). At one stage her breasts started leaking quite heavily (worse than mine did through both pregnancies!) – we discovered this was a direct result of one of the anti nausea pills … yet again, a known side affect of a medication that was never pointed out to us … we had to research it ourselves!

We have good days, bad days, and really bad days. It’s not often a day goes by without at least some queasiness, pain or anxiety creeping in. We are all trying to remain positive, but the tears very often flow – from her and us!

Most days during school term, she attempted to go to school chipper; within hours we usually either heard her car in the driveway or we’d get a call from the school nurse that she is so ill she couldn’t drive herself home ….on those days, I thanked God I don’t work for a boss and am self-employed!

Her school attendance got so bad, sometimes not attending for up to two weeks, that we have now, in conjuction with her teachers and with their full support, decided to home school in order to complete her final year in College. At this stage, we aren’t sure what she’s going to do about University studies that she was so intent upon, as there is no way she could cope. She is currently looking at correspondence courses to achieve even a Diploma level.

I’m at the point where I’m collating data madly. I am now living 18-20 hour days, fitting in work somewhere amongst the medical appointments and then frantically reading, researching, messaging and chatting to all and sundry. Running ragged, but determined to do something to get my nearly 18 year old back to her former self.

We’ve recently met and chatted with so many other mothers, fathers and daughters going through the same or even worse symptoms, and it’s made me realise how important it is for these girls to know they’re not alone … and for us mothers and fathers to feel that we have an outlet. Thank God for social media and the support groups.

Over and over the Facebook posts in groups such as this, I’m very keen to set up a regular get-together over coffee (or wine!) and nibbles so that we can all vent, share solutions and start to regain our lives again. If anyone is in the Auckland region and keen, do message me on E: gayledd@me.com. Parents or girls are welcome to ring me, too: C: .

I refuse to allow this vaccine to continue harming our girls and am doing everything in my power to bring it to the attention of the media and authorities. I’ve had two interviews done … one has already been ”shelved” as they maintain that I can’t provide scientific proof that the vaccine is to blame! Go figure!

But I won’t give up …. Another interview should hopefully see the light of day soon, and I’ve had talks with a member of the Waitemata (Auckland) District Health Board, and am trying to get to see our Minister of Health. I’m also pushing local MP’s to sit up and take notice!

Gayle,

Your article is very detailed and informative. I imagine many will find it helpful and will be able to elude a similar type of situation that your daughter and you are tackling.

Sounds like you have a great support team around you.

I really hope as well, that you will have a news outlet, to take a minute to hear this story.

So often word of mouth and looking out for one another in our families and communities pulls far more weight than any news cast.  Just as seen in your scenario.

Here is a link with additional healthcare professionals in different locales. Featured Doctors Link

Sane Vax is priceless as well.  So glad that you have come in contact with them.

I wish you all the best and hold you in my prayers.

Here is a little musical gift I hope you enjoy.  I find the music pierces the soul and you will love the confidence of the little girl. Enjoy.

Gardasil: My doctors said there were no side effects#Vaccines#Danish#Health

Gardasil: My doctors said there were no side effects

By Sanni Charlotte Falcke, Kalundborg, Denmark

Gardasil: No Side Effects?

Gardasil: No Side Effects?

I am a 29 year old girl from Denmark who was harmed by the HPV vaccine Gardasil… Here is my story:

For as long as I can remember I have struggled with my mind. I have Paranoid Schizophrenia. It hasn’t always been easy being me. Whatever I have experienced in the past bears no comparison with how I am feeling now as it is no longer a mental problem but a physical problem and this change in my health has occurred after being vaccinated with Gardasil.

Because I was infected with a strain of the HPV virus and developed cervical dysplasia, I had to have a cone biopsy. After my surgery the doctor very kindly but firmly said that I should get this new vaccine because I was in the risk zone.  I went home and thought about it but decided not to get it because it was very expensive.

After a year or two the Danish government decided to make the vaccine free for girls in my age group but it was a time limited offer so I contacted my doctor to hear more about it.  I asked her if there were any side effects but she just replied,

“No, this vaccine has no side effects. You may get some redness or swelling at the injection site but nothing else.”

When a doctor says that, you believe it, so I got the first shot on 16th October 2012.

In the evening I began to feel sick, I had nausea and I threw up and developed a fever and chills. This continued for 3 days. When I finally felt a little better from having the fever, I began to feel dizzy and for no apparent reason I would just blackout out of the blue. When I had fainted 3 times I went to the doctor (not even thinking it could be the vaccine).  She took some metabolism tests because I have low metabolism and some additional tests to check out the vitamins in my body and to see if perhaps I was becoming a diabetic.   Every single test was fine but she said that my metabolism could be too low and even although the tests were fine she decided to increase the dosage of this particular medication I was taking.  As I fainted a couple of times more I went back to the doctor again and her conclusion at that time was that it could be a virus or something wrong with my ears.

It was time for my second shot on 17th December 2012. When I arrived at the doctor’s office, I asked the guy who was going to give me the shot if the influenza symptoms I had last time could be because of the vaccine. He said that the vaccine didn’t have any side effects and he had never heard of anybody getting ill, so it must have been influenza.

The same thing happened again. I got so sick but this time I also had a very powerful stomach pain. The weeks following this shot I just felt so awful, I was so dizzy that people actually thought I was drunk.  I began to have daily headaches and sometimes had a bad migraine. I couldn’t concentrate, had trouble remembering things, got extremely tired and could sleep anywhere any time. But not even then did I make the possible connection with the vaccine.

I went to the doctor about 10 times more, all regarding the symptoms above, but she said the same thing each time: “I can’t do any more for you Sanni. You have to contact an audiologist.”

But in the middle of it all I was moving home and I had to put everything on hold until I was settled in my new home.

On 10th April 2013, it was time for my third and final shot.  I had a new doctor and I asked him the same thing I had asked my previous doctor, if the cause of my symptoms were the vaccine. My doctor answered with the same answer: “No, this vaccine has no side effects.”

So I went ahead and got the final shot.

Of course the same thing happened this time also, I got very ill, and with the same symptoms as the second time I had the shot.

When the influenza-like symptoms were over, I began fainting a lot again. I was very dizzy and couldn’t hold my balance. I got more and more tired, developed breathing problems and hyperventilated a lot. I didn’t have the strength for anything anymore and even my daily walks with my dog or playing with my stepson became impossible.  I was afraid to walk up and down our stairs so I didn’t get out as I used to. So I went back to the doctor, who did a billion tests and of course all of them were fine.

The whole family was in the yard and I decided to go down to meet them. We were just standing there chatting and suddenly I got very dizzy and blacked out. My mother in law saw what happened to me.  She rang 911 (or 112 here in Denmark) and they came very quickly. My blood pressure and ECG were fine but they decided to take me to the hospital anyway. At the hospital they did a lot of tests, but found nothing.

My boyfriend, family and myself were now feeling very uneasy and scared at what was going on. My family is just becoming so nervous at letting me be alone in case I should fall and injure myself badly. They watch over me constantly.

I have always been a happy girl who could do whatever she set her mind to, but now I have to think very carefully about attempting daily tasks.  My bicycle days are over and I can’t even take the train because I am scared I will fall down onto the rails.

After Gardasil, I have had many problems but the one thing that stands out in my mind was when I had problems with serious cramps in my legs, paralysis in my legs and the feeling I got in my legs when I woke up in the morning and had to actually beat them to get them to waken up. Fortunately it’s “only” a sleeping sensation in my legs now, I haven’t got the same problems anymore… but the symptoms keep on coming and changing every week.

My whole life has changed. The life I could have had is always on my mind. What if I had not been vaccinated would I then have been able to get a job?  What if I had just listened to my subconscious worries, would I then have been able to have a child?

A lot of things keep going through my mind and I can’t stop blaming myself a little bit for not researching this vaccine a bit more. But when I get mad at myself I try to turn this anger towards the company that made this vaccine, the government that provides the vaccine and the doctors who keep on wrongly reassuring young girls that this vaccine is safe and has no side effects.

But in my entire struggle there is some light ahead.  I had an appointment at the neurologist’s office today and as a birthday gift I finally got that (referral) that I have been asking for, for the last year.  I got a (referral) to the hospital for a tilt table test (vippelejetest) to establish whether I have POTS (Postural Tachycardia Syndrome) because of my fast heart rate and the trouble I am having with dizziness when I am standing up and of course the number of times I have fainted. I have also received a referral to yet another hospital to establish whether I have some neurological damage. I am so happy, finally I am getting somewhere.

Now I just need to get even better, it’s not easy, but I’m a fighter!

I really feel for all the girls all over the world that were harmed by this vaccine. I never ever thought that this could happen to me. I am sure they did not think they could be hurt either. Like them, I trusted my doctors, I trusted them when they said that the vaccine was safe, I trusted them when they said there were no side-effects.

Now I am much wiser, I just wish there had been somebody who had told me the truth before I decided to go ahead with the Gardasil vaccine.

Story reposted from SaneVax.org

Sanni, it is evident that you are a bright and determined girl.  I can’t help but think that you are teaching the doctors and so many around you. Hopefully, the word will spread to doctors that Gardasil/Silgard and Cervarix have had severe and numerous side effects in many cases.  These drugs should have been taken off the market ages ago.  It is nothing short of a crime that they are on medical  shelves today.

I hope your doctors learn from what you and others in Denmark are going through.  Sometimes people can be so blind of the obvious around them, and it becomes deeply frustrating to those in pain. I am so sorry you have had to endure this trial.  I am certain you will make a difference in another individual’s life and they will not have to endure this same trial, due to your honesty and strength of character.

You have also displayed such humility and kindness in sharing your very personal story. Thank you.

I can’t tell you how relieved I am that you have found SaneVax Inc.  They are dedicated individuals that have located healing formulas for your specific ailment, and I am sure by now you have felt of their big hearts.  I am also including a link of a product that has significant healing properties that I use on a regular basis.

Earlier tonight I needed to laugh to ease some of the pain I endure time and again, and so I watched some YouTube clips of my favorite comedy group.  I have included a few favorite clips for you.  I hope it brings you, and your loving, and supportive family some laughter, because we all know laughter is great medicine.

All the best, and God be with you.  jen  🙂

After Gardasil: I simply want my healthy daughter back

By Anja Brix Larsen, Ringsted, Denmark

Natasja

Natasja

Prior to Natasja being vaccinated with Gardasil, she led a very active and healthy lifestyle.  Now please see what has happened to her since the Gardasil vaccine was injected into her body.

My daughter Natasja had the three shots of Gardasil in May, August and December of 2011.

After her second shot she started having severe headaches, tunnel vision and short term loss of her peripheral vision.   I went to the doctor as I was concerned.  Natasja developed a sore throat after her third vaccination. She could not eat and was in a lot of pain throughout her body.  My daughter was very ill for 14 days.

Natasja’s pains did not diminish throughout 2012 and the level of her pain increased.  This continued and there did not appear to be any respite. As we continued into the early part of 2013 her health deteriorated. The pain was constant and she had sensory disturbances on the right side of her face and down her right arm along with blurred vision and severe headaches.    Natasja was hospitalized and after a lumbar puncture was diagnosed with a neurological disorder and Borrelia, otherwise known as Lyme disease.

That was the very first diagnosis we had received.  The situation did not improve throughout 2013. Things just became more frustrating as her symptoms seemed to increase all the time.  Her headaches became more painful, she was nauseous, vomiting a lot of the time, having heart palpitations and finding it very difficult to concentrate.  There was hardly a part of Natasja’s body that was not painful.

We were of course attending the doctor or being admitted again into hospital.  She was also starting to get some physiotherapy.  Her second diagnosis in March of 2013 was severe pain and benign intracranial increased pressure.

Joint Swelling

Joint Swelling

The year did not get any better. Natasja’s pains became more severe. Her knee joints would swell up (see picture) and at times she could hardly manage to get upstairs.  Her stomach cramps increased and she was having serious diarrhoea.  During this time we were consulting a Rheumatologist and also a hormone specialist who was concerned about Natasja’s size and height.

In August 2013, Natasja was hospitalized again as she was still having serious headaches and continued to be nauseous.  This time she was diagnosed with Cephalalgia which is described as a pain in her head caused by dilation of cerebral arteries or muscle contractions or a reaction to drugs.

The headaches and feeling sick continued and was truly disrupting her life.  She was still losing feeling in her left leg but as always the doctor had no idea why this was happening.  This doctor wanted to try and keep a watchful eye on how she was progressing and I did mention to him about the HPV vaccine.  Natasja was put on to another drug, amitriptyline 10 mg which was to be increased until she was on seven tablets a day.

She was still going to school, or trying to, but it was becoming increasingly difficult for her to do so.  The school was very good in that they provided a bed for her to have a rest if she needed to.  Eventually they allowed our daughter to go for a few hours per day and to attend in classes that would not be too difficult for her.

Then in October 2013, Natasja had to be admitted again to Frederiksberg Hospital and this time she was diagnosed as having POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). This condition is an abnormality of the functioning of the autonomic (involuntary) nervous system.  Some of the medications she is on do not appear to be helping and they will be reviewing these and making changes as and when they think it is right to do so.

Natasja has lost of a lot of weight and her body is bloated as if there is a lot of fluid retention.  Her legs are particularly vulnerable to this swelling.

Things do not improve as we go into 2014.  To allow our daughter to sleep we had to call the emergency medical service who gave her a morphine tablet.  In January, she was re-admitted to hospital, yet again.

This is a list of the symptoms she has experienced since being vaccinated.

Unexplained Rash

A link is also provided here to the diary I kept of all the events which have taken place since Natasja was vaccinated way back in 2011:   Read the diary of symptoms and medical visits kept by Anja, mother of Natasja

Update since Natasja was released from hospital

Natasja is now home. They could not find the reason for her symptoms. They have only tried psychiatric treatment and she’s been promised a ski trip with the hospital on the 5th April 2014 to France so she can mix socially with others and try physical exercise.

She has her ups and downs, with pain worst in her knees, stomach and head. She has started home schooling run by the school. She also started handicap riding but had so much pain after two days that she had to stay in bed for a further two days afterwards. She has had a conversation with a psychiatrist at the hospital and they think it would be good for her to continue with this so we shall see what comes out of it. They say that the reason for her headaches and pain is psychiatric.

Gardasil: I want my daughter back.

Gardasil: I want my healthy daughter back.

I feel that the medicine she gets for her POTS has started to work well, she is not so often dizzy any more, just a little sometimes when everything goes black and she has to immediately lie down on the floor.

How can someone who once was so healthy suddenly develop all these illnesses and symptoms?  My greatest wish is that someone out there would help my daughter to recover, to be free of pain and to become the once healthy, happy and very active young woman she once was.

All I want is for my daughter to recover and become her old self again. That surely is not too much to ask.

Anja and Natasja, I am so sorry you have had to endure such a painful and grievous trial.  You are no doubt stronger and wiser for it but I hope and pray events turn for the better for you.

I would use caution with the psychiatric care at this point.  If the doctor doesn’t believe the symptoms are real than his care could prove detrimental.

I have recently become aware of girls and at times their mothers as well being committed rather than healed from physical symptoms.  A cowardly, and lazy alternative to healing victims of the Gardasil reactions.

Unfortunately, some will cling violently to the belief that vaccines cause little to no harm and to think that there is any doubt remaining on the effects of the Gardasil/Cervarix vaccine is hard to believe.  A situation we just have to deal with but there is good news.

Our Heavenly Father has heard the pleas and prayers and there are wonderful practitioners who have stepped up to the plate.  Men and woman of great compassion and skill.  I wouldn’t waste any time with practitioners who do not understand your plight.  Every day is so precious and Natasja can have healing begin right away.

Distance is not a consideration.  You can phone/skype and start recovery today.  You are woman of strength and this weighty trial can begin to be lifted. What a beautiful family you are and I have chosen a favorite artist to soothe some of the heaviness of the day in the clip below.

Sanevax Inc has names of doctors with a proven track record and I as well have a Featured Doctors link on my site. I wish you all the best and have you in my prayers.
