Rhode Island to mandate HPV vaccine for all 7th graders#android#iPad#retweet

PROVIDENCE — Starting this fall, seventh-graders in all public and private schools will be required to get a vaccine that protects against a sexually transmitted virus linked to various genital cancers, especially cervical cancer in women.

Students who fail to get the vaccine for HPV — or the human papillomavirus — will be precluded from attending school unless their parents seek an exemption for medical or religious reasons. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted virus in the United States. It is widespread: there are more than 14 million new infections annually, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Rhode Island becomes the third jurisdiction, including Virginia and Washington, D.C., to make the vaccine mandatory.

Locally, some parents are already agitating against the vaccine, saying it’s an intrusion by the government into private matters and that the vaccine’s side effects can be serious.

The Flu shot is something that’s being pushed on us from every direction.

The CDC would love to have you believe that thousands of people die from Flu every year,
just in the United States alone.

In 2001, out of the 60,000 people that the CDC said died of Flu that year in the United States there were 18 confirmed deaths from Influenza. I mean that’s just a huge discrepancy. What they do is they pull all deaths in the winter that have anything to do with respiratory symptoms together and they all label them as Flu deaths whether they’ve even documented Flu or not. And so the CDC loves to promote the Flu vaccine because the CDC’s been very much in cahoots with the industry. This vaccine doesn’t work, it’s a waste of our money, it’s a waste of our time. Many people who’ve received the flu shot report getting the flu shortly after they’ve gotten the shot…

Labor unions representing professionals and skilled workers from many fields have publicly opposed mandatory vaccination in written statements to a government organization. Doctors, nurses, surgeons, skilled laborers, teachers, flight attendants, manufacturing employees, energy workers, and members of many more professions have spoken out against mandatory vaccines to the National Vaccine Advisory Committee (NVAC).

This news is not new, but you probably didn’t know that so many labor unions and trade groups are collectively against mandatory vaccination. These groups, representing millions of workers, include names that may surprise you.

Over two years ago, the NVAC recommended that facilities providing health care services should consider implementing mandatory flu vaccine policies as a condition of employment.
