New York Times rips apart Paul Offit’s vaccine quackery#android#iPad#retweet
by: L.J. Devon
If it goes by the name “vaccine,” then Paul Offit is all for it. It doesn’t matter if the vaccine contains brain-damaging mercury preservative or aluminum adjuvant. It doesn’t matter to Offit if the vaccine retrains the immune system to weaken at the first line of defense as its mode of action bypasses the humoral defense mechanisms.
It’s simple and blind. If the vaccine is deemed “medical science,” then Paul Offit is all about it — no questions asked. He’s often the mainstream media’s lead spokesperson promoting vaccines, and he is quick to judge anyone who is skeptical of modern medicine or vaccine philosophy. He often labels vaccine skeptics “anti-vaxxers,” even though these are the people who advocate for safer vaccines and medicine that doesn’t have such debilitating side effects.
Offit’s new book Bad Faith better describes his own blind adherence to vaccines…
Doctors Stand Up for Your Patients
By Sherri Tenpenny, DO, AOBNMM, ABIHM
You were a new parent; you trusted your pediatrician. And you liked him. He was playful, cooed with your baby and had a tiny teddy bear attached to his stethoscope. You believed him when he said, “Vaccines are safe. They’ve been tested and reactions are extremely rare.” Together you laughed and made fun of the “anti-vaxxers.” The two of you agreed that parents who didn’t vaccinate their children were cavalier at best, dangerous at worst.
Without hesitation, you went to all the well visits. You held your baby as she cried and you watched as the nurse injected many shots into her chubby little thighs. You had no reservations about taking her for her 1-year shots, the day after her playful birthday party, complete with cake, balloons and too many presents from doting grandparents, aunts and uncles. You grabbed a sucker out of the jar on your way to the car, whimpering baby in tow.
Shortly after you got home, the crying began in earnest. She was fussy, clingy, and irritable. Something was wrong. This was not your fiercely independent child. Concerned, you called the office. She had not responded like this after her other shots. You were reassured she would be fine.
And then, it happened. Actually, then it began…
National Vaccine Information Center Says Proposed 21st Century Cures Act Will Endanger the Public Health by Lowering FDA Licensing Standards#android#iPad#retweet
The non-profit National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) says the proposed 21st Century Cures Act (H.R. 6) will endanger the public health by lowering scientific and informed consent standards used by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to license experimental biological products (vaccines), drugs and medical devices in order to expedite delivery to the U.S. market. Under the proposed law, drug companies could avoid conducting large randomized clinical trials and researchers would be able to test new products on humans without obtaining informed consent.
“Informed consent is the gold standard in human experimentation and the practice of ethical medicine, and there is no substitute for the requirement that drug companies conduct large, well designed randomized clinical trials before the FDA licenses a new vaccine”
The bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives on July 10, 2015. It mandates that an additional $9 billion be given to National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop new vaccines and drugs and $550 million be given to the FDA to fast track licensure.
“The 21st Century Cures Act is a drug company stockholder’s dream and a consumer’s worst nightmare,” said Barbara Loe Fisher, NVIC Co-founder and President. “Making experimental drugs quickly available for the sick and dying, who voluntarily choose to use them, is one thing but Congress should not be greasing the skids to license experimental vaccines that government will recommend and legally require healthy children and adults to use. It is a prescription for disaster.”…
Former Merck Rep Says Mandatory Vaccination Is For Profit and Not Public Health#android#iPad#retweet
http://www.StopMandatoryVaccination.com – Brandy Vaughan is a former sales rep for Merck & Co. – a vaccine maker – and she details how vaccine companies are using vaccines as a vehicle for massive profit and not public health. Brandy researched the safety of vaccines and found that not only do vaccines contain known toxins that can cause neurological damage, but that vaccine makers do not create the same safety studies for vaccines as they do for other drugs. This lack of true safety research of vaccines combined with the known adverse reactions to vaccination has helped Brandy to decide to never vaccinate her own child. Brandy says giving children a vaccine is like playing Russian roulette with our children and that mandatory vaccination is simply a way for vaccine makers to profit off of our children. Don’t be fooled: we do not need mandatory vaccination.

The Real Story Behind The Anti-Vaccine Billboards That Are Going Viral#android#iPad#retweet
An Indiana father discovered his efforts to honor the life of his lost vaccine-injured daughter were recently vandalized, when a billboard he ordered was thoughtlessly spray painted by two men. If these criminals knew the heartache this father has faced during his daughter’s 36-year battle with vaccine injuries, compassion and common sense would dictate that they would not have committed such a cruel, heartless act.
Jim O’Kelly, 74, with support from the new Anti-Vaccination League of America and others, has funded the display of seven billboards in northwestern Indiana, in hopes of informing parents of the truth about the medical and vaccination system in America. Many people are unaware that vaccine companies cannot be sued if a child suffers a vaccine injury or death from a vaccine. O’Kelly wants vaccine manufacturers and the government to “prove the vaccines save lives or repeal all mandatory laws.”
This travesty has been standard policy since 1986, when the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act was passed by the US government. Families whose children are injured or killed by vaccines must take their case to a special court before the two-year statute of limitations expires. The emotional and financial costs are more than most families can bear…
Maine Doctors Testify That They Are Unqualified To Vaccinate Patients#android#iPad#retweet
So I wrote this bill…
Last summer a reporter I had never heard of from the Portland Press Herald called me about vaccine stuff. I started with my standard, “First of all I am not anti-vaccine. I vaccinated my children and one of them got hurt…” thing. Then he interviewed me for an hour and I got to discuss all the corruption problems at length. Seemed like an OK interview. But as is the reality of our world, the hack, Joe Lawlor, turned out to be a poor man’s Mnookin, and “Ginger Taylor, an anti–vaccineadvocate from Brunswick…” Cut to two weeks later and look who is sitting on a dais with Paul Offit at the National Press Club being held out as an example of exactly how to journalize right on vaccination. After writing ONE story on vaccination. (Lawler is the new Offiteer on the beat… will he soar like Seth “I hate my mother’ Mnookin to teach science journalism at MIT or become he head of a media strategy group serving Eli Lilly and GSK like Trine “Cupcake” Tsouderos … stay tuned and find out.)
There have been half a dozen propaganda pieces by Lawlor since then, all working to get people excited about the HUGE new opportunity we have to get rid of measles in Maine by restricting vaccine exemptions. Well, I mean, there hasn’t been a measles case in Maine in 18 years, so we are not so much trying to get rid of Measles as much as we hope that removing the rights of parents will help us achieve negative measles in Maine. That way if we still get a few cases of measles, we can still have no measles. You have to stay hyper vigilant, you know. Measles is only a tea cup ride away…
