The Gary Null Show – 02.19.15#Android#iPad#masterchefit#mommywithstyle

This is a must listen to podcast.  Good to play in the background while you are working or driving. Gain clarity and insight that you won’t find elsewhere in regards to, thirmerasol, the toxic mercury ingredient found in many vaccines.

Dr. Flannery, one of our, Featured Doctors, is also interviewed in this podcast.  Hear what he has to say about his experience with treating vaccine injuries.

Documentary – Trace Amounts – on history of thimerosal and the government government’s coverup on its relationship to autism

– Eric Gladen is the director of the recently released documentary Trace Amounts – a film 10 years in the making that deeply explores the many scientific and politicized medical controversies associated with the relationship between the mercury compound thimerosal found in vaccines and the epidemic rise in autism and other neurological disorders.  In 2004, after receiving a tetanus shot containing thimerosal, Eric’s life completely changed with the onset of a cascade of adverse physical, neurological and mental symptoms following the vaccine.  For the next decade, Eric researched the autism’s “causes” associated with vaccine ingredients and traveled the country to interview and film scientists and individuals questioning the safety of vaccine ingredients to produce this documentary.  Eric has an engineering degree from Oregon State University and his website is TraceAmounts.com

The science behind thimerosal and autism

– David Geier is the Vice-President of the non-profit Institute of Chronic Illnesses, Inc and the Vice-President of the non-profit Coalition for Mercury-free Drugs. He has extensive experience as a medical research scientist and has co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed scientific/medical journal articles, book chapters, and other publications. Fifty of his studies examined the safety of such vaccines as hepatitis B, DPT, HPV, the MMR, Lymes, Hib, and polio.  An additional 25 studies investigated the safety of the mercury compound Thimerosal. In recognition of his scientific research, David has been invited to present at numerous professional conferences around the world, including giving presentations to the Institute of Medicine of the US National Academy of Sciences. His scientific research includes the study of vaccine safety, autism and other childhood neurodevelopmental disorders, toxicology, and molecular biological mechanisms.  David is a biology graduate of UMBC and also studied vaccine science, immunology and epidemiology at the NIH’s Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences. His website is MercuryFreeBaby.org

Awake at 3 a.m.? Try this quick and easy trick to fall back asleep#insomnia#iPad#android

By Dr Flannery

Do you often wake up at 3 a.m., your mind racing with thoughts, and you can’t fall back asleep? Try this crazy sounding but highly effective tip: Eat something! Make sure it’s not something sweet but instead something with protein and fat, such as nut butter, a bit of hard boiled egg, or some meat. Make sure to keep some food next to your bed with a glass of water so you don’t wake yourself up too much by going to the kitchen. You won’t feel hungry and most likely won’t feel like eating, but do it anyway as an experiment. Chances are you will fall right back to sleep. Why?

If things go according to plan you don’t bolt awake at 3 a.m. While you’re sound asleep you’re brain is hard at work and needs plenty of fuel. It is forming memories, clearing out old cells, regenerating — all while you’re fasting, having gone hours without eating. In order to give the brain the energy it needs, the body gradually raises cortisol, an adrenal hormone. Cortisol triggers the release or synthesis of glucose to fuel the brain during the nightlong fast and you sleep through the night.

That’s if things are working right. If you suffer with chronically low blood sugar then you are one of those people who is likely to bolt awake at 3 or 4 a.m. People with low blood sugar will have difficulty making enough cortisol to sustain the brain during the night. To compensate and keep the brain going, the body then releases “fight-or-flight” adrenal hormones. These adrenal hormones raise blood sugar back to a safer level to give the brain fuel. Unfortunately, they also raise stress, which can cause anxiety or panic in the middle of the night. This explains why you wake up at 3 or 4 a.m. with a racing mind, an infinite to-do list, in a panic, or some other stress-addled state.

Things you can do during the day to avoid waking up at 3 a.m.

Although a few bites of food may help you fall back asleep, it’s better to prevent that anxious wake up call in the first place. If low blood sugar has you waking up every morning at 3 a.m. try the following tips:

  • Always eat breakfast, even if you don’t feel like it, and avoid sugary, high-carbohydrate foods with breakfast. Low blood sugar will cause you to wake up with no appetite. You may even feel nauseous. Eat anyway, you need to break the nightlong fast and stabilize your blood sugar.
  • During the day eat frequently enough so blood sugar does not crash.
  • Avoid sweets and starchy foods (breads, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc.) and adopt a lower-carbohydrate diet. People with low blood sugar symptoms typically eat too many sweets and starchy foods as well as frequently skip meals. Eat enough protein and healthy fats to sustain your energy.

Ask my office about nutritional compounds that can help you manage your blood sugar better and sleep through the night.

While Mitochondrial Disorders (MD) are known

to be genetic in origin, over the last few years

research has also looked into identifying epi-genetic

triggers like vaccination, emotional trauma, etc.

Studies show that MD can be a predominant genetic

complication in many children diagnosed with autism

spectrum disorders (ASD).

On the other hand, there has been increasing evidence and recognition of “acquired” mitochondrial dysfunction

(not a full-blown disorder) in children with chronic and/or autoimmune conditions like autism, ADHD, ADD,

SPD, Lyme Disease and PANDAS with several environmental, immunological, infectious, and inflammatory

factors playing a role. Studies show that substantial percentages of these patients dis-play several peripheral

markers of mitochondrial energy metabolism dysfunction…What are Mitochondria…

Our Featured Doctor this month is Dr. Jared Anderson.

My family and I have been receiving care from Dr. Anderson for some time now.  I am very picky on the preventative care that my family and I receive, and I am happy to introduce Dr. Anderson  as a featured doctor.

I am a firm believer in visiting the doctor to strengthen the immune system in order to maintain good health.  You can read more about Dr. Anderson in his bio below.

Dr. Anderson has written a detailed, informative, and timely article on the flu vaccine.  I am grateful for his efforts in compiling these facts.  A must-read if you consider this shot for you or anyone else!!

by Dr. Jared Anderson

The Flu Vaccine 2014/2015 and maintaining a healthy immune system year round.

Meet Dr. Jared Anderson

Dr. Jared Anderson grew up in Cincinnati, OH.

After graduating from Belton High School in Belton, Texas he went on to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength Conditioning Coach.  He specialized in training and rehabilitating high school/collegiate athletes and fitness competitors.

During this time he acquired his undergraduate degree at The University of Utah in Pre Med and Exercise Sports Science.

He received his Doctorate degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, while simultaneously acquiring another Bachelors degree in Human Anatomy.  He has been in practice in Dallas, Texas, and has now partnered with the Premier Wellness team in Salt Lake City, Utah, specializing in Applied/Clinical Kinesiology, Herniated Discs, Spinal/Extremity Rehabilitation and Nutritional Therapy.

Dr. Anderson first experienced the miracle of Chiropractic care when as a young man he injured his lower back playing soccer. He was treated by traditional medicine with no results.

Finally, after over a year of extreme pain, handicap, and sleepless nights watching his health deteriorate and being told that exploratory surgery was the only way forward, he was referred to a local doctor of chiropractic and applied kinesiology.

After a few visits with his chiropractor his pain was gone and over time his life and function were restored. This experience left a lasting impression knowing there were many people like him who were looking for answers to their health problems and had no idea where to look. This experience fueled Dr. Anderson’s inspiration to become a Doctor of Chiropractic himself.

Through the methods that facilitated his own healing, Dr. Anderson has successfully treated patients diagnosed with herniated disc, low back pain, headaches, nutritional deficiency, carpel tunnel, allergies, acute trauma injuries, neck pain and much more. He uses muscle testing, traditional physical and historical examination, as well as lab testing in his diagnostic approach.

An avid spokesman for the chiropractic and other holistic professions Dr. Anderson currently can be found in the community giving talks and lectures about the philosophy of chiropractic and its approach to empower the body to heal itself as intended.  Dr. Anderson is living his vision to educate the public about the science and miracles of the human body and the role of chiropractic in it.

Dr. Anderson wholeheartedly supports the words of Thomas Edison when he stated:

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest

his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet and in the

cause and prevention of disease.”

Dr. Anderson is very happy to be back in the Greatest Snow on Earth.  In his spare time you can find him riding motorcycles, skiing, mountain biking, rock-climbing, training, hiking or watching his Cincinnati Reds and Bengals.

Dr. Kory Branham – Featured Doctor#Vaccines#ASD#Health

I have been pleased to find Dr. Kory Branham.  Upon moving to the Salt Lake City, Utah area, I wanted to find a physician that matches the type of healing I find most beneficial for my family and I. He has aided many individuals, and families, and I am fortunate to benefit from his tried and tested techniques. Dr. Branham’s practice has much to offer, whether you are interested in strengthening your immune system or healing from vaccine damages.

Thank you, Dr. Branham for all the good that you do.

I approach immune challenges from a whole body standpoint. I use Applied Kinesiology (manual muscle testing), to tune into each individual body, to determine the organs that are the weakest and identify the factors contributing to the weakness ranging from infections to heavy metals and chemical toxicities, to food allergies, to emotional challenges, to inherited weaknesses.

I use remedies ranging from herbs, flower remedies, vitamins and minerals to structural, spinal and cranial adjusting to emotional release techniques to homeopathic acute and constitutional remedies. Often times the immune system which is a complex of the thymus gland, the spleen, and the lymphatic system is damaged or inhibited by food allergens, or low-grade persistent infections ranging from yeast to viruses, to parasites.

Other organs being depleted will also impact the immune system including low or high adrenal or low thyroid function. It is well known that chronic depression, anxiety or bitterness can suppress the immune system and lead to illness. This is true “Holistic healing,” assessing all factors and then identifying which ones are the priority to address for each individual person.

Some of the most common immune support supplements are zinc, selenium, vitamin C, B vitamins, Reishi and astragalus mushrooms, antibiotic herbs like oregano, and goldenseal and thymus and spleen glandular extracts.

Which, in regard to vaccinations, I use homeopathic test vials for the different vaccines to assess if the body is stressed by them, and specifically which glands or tissues are stressed, then I identify the appropriate remedy or treatments to heal that stressed tissue.

On average about 1/3 of all weaknesses are identified as having emotional components. A big part of what I do is to bring awareness to these issues and help the patient release this energy.

Another hidden factor creating a lot of immune stress is hidden food allergies or sensitivities which can be assessed using Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Branham’s Practice – Premier Wellness Utah

BIO

Dr. Kory Branham

Dr. Branham was born in St. George, Utah in 1955.
At six months of age, his family moved to northern Wisconsin where he grew up and attended high school.
His exposure to natural healing methods began early as his mother opened a health foods store in their home in Wisconsin in the 1960’s. Also from a young age he was exposed to Chiropractic adjustments by his father who had attended McCoy Chiropractic Institute in Seattle, Washington, but was drafted into the Army during the Korean War before finishing school.
At age 19, Dr. Branham served a mission for the LDS church in both Toronto, Canada and Sao Paulo, Brazil. On his return, he attended undergraduate school at BYU and then did his Chiropractic studies at the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1980 and began his career first in Texas then in Detroit, Michigan where he spent three years working for Dr. George Goodheart.
Dr. Goodheart was the founder of Applied Kinesiology, which is a diagnostic technique using manual muscle testing to evaluate the body. Through “AK”, a practitioner can quickly evaluate and integrate many different kinds of natural therapy and apply it to the patient very specifically. Dr. Branham became certified as a Diplomat of the International College of Applied Kinesiology and has become a master of this technique.
In addition to this technique Dr. Branham has studied and integrated many other healing modalities into his practice including craniosacral therapy, trigger-point release techniques, Neuro-Emotional Technique(“NET”), diversified adjusting, and functional medicine which utilizes functional hair, blood, and stool analysis to diagnose the patient.
Dr. Branham moved to Utah and began practice here in 1986. Initially attracted to the mountains and snow for the climbing and skiing he met his wife Julie here and has made it his home. He currently resides in Alpine, Utah where he and his wife are raising four children and running a Yoga studio.

Autism and Stealth Infections: Emerging Concepts, Treatment Strategies and New Hope!

A change

An epic journey through the quagmire of spectrum issues and infections with my own son inspired me to change my practice, my outlook, and pretty much turned my entire personal and professional life in a new direction. Being a clinician and seeing my child ravaged by unknown infections was devastating, daunting, and emotionally challenging for the whole family. I have had blessed opportunities to train with and learn from world renowned physicians like Dietrich Klinghardt, Charles Ray Jones, Kendal Stewart, Sergej Dorochov, Thomas Rau, Donna Embree, Ritchie Shoemaker, Jeffrey Bradstreet , and Robert Bransfield. The information has been overwhelmingly complex and hard to grasp; however, once understood, it is truly empowering, enriching, and life-changing, not only my son but also for the many children and families I’ve been able to help in the last few years.

I learned how to blend the modern, cutting-edge, research-based treatments with age old wisdom of bio energetic and biomedical natural approaches to healthcare. The amazing concept of bio individuality- the physiological and biochemical uniqueness of each child treated – is the single most pivotal factor upon which treatment decisions are based. Being able to hand select a synergistic combination of treatment approaches for each patient and to witness the wondrous, often life-changing improvements seen in these children is a blessing and privilege to witness.

Today, bio energetic and functional medicine are the cornerstone of my practice. Homotoxicology, homeopathy, herbal therapies, autonomic response testing, neuro biofeedback, sensory Integration, methylation and nutrigenomics are modalities I employ every day to help children and their families negotiate through the complex world of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). These same modalities and treatments have simultaneously greatly improved many of the multiple underlying chronic infections – an extremely welcome additional benefit!

Success stories:

I would like to start off with a few case studies: stories of hope, recovery, and the blossoming of many little lives after the underlying infections lurking in their bodies and brains had been discovered and treated.

Aidan:

Aidan’s mom called me frantic with worry, looking for answers and for hope that her 6 year old son did not simply develop Asperger’s syndrome at this age, all of a sudden and out of the blue. Upon further inquiry, she informed me that Aidan was always smart, funny, sweet, kind, creative, and talented and had many friends. Then one day he woke up a completely different child: a new, unseen cough that happened every few seconds, a shoulder shrug that also happened every few seconds, and a little eye roll as well. Aidan went on to become mean, angry (complete with full blown rages), depressed, uncaring, deteriorating handwriting, steady loss of math skills, socially withdrawn (losing most all friends), and, in general, failing academically. She found him trying to kill his little brother with a hammer and to her horror she caught him trying to eat the cleaning chemicals under the sink, trying to kill himself as he thought nobody liked him and everybody hated him at home and at school.

The pediatrician suggested ADHD and referred them to a psychiatrist for appropriate medication. The neurologist diagnosed him with Asperger’s syndrome and suggested behavioral therapy. Aidan had developed severe OCD with rituals for many routine things like going to the bathroom or leaving the house. It would sometimes take two hours for him to go complete all his compulsive steps before they could leave for an appointment. School was next to impossible, and the school sent home a tutor to help Aidan. This went on for two years.

After a truly horrible day and at the end of her rope, she came across my information on Facebook and called me. I saw Aidan and his mother in my office, where she informed me he was a mere shadow of his former self. Aidan pleaded with me to help him. Upon further inquiry, I found out that Aidan had a tick attached to his scalp immediately behind his ear at around 3.5 years of age. The tick was engorged, and he was seen by his pediatrician for removal. The tick was duly identified as a “dog” tick and hence deemed “ok” and the matter was never mentioned again until the day I asked mom the question that she says no physician has ever asked her.

I started Aidan on comprehensive biomedical protocols and also referred Aidan to a pediatric Lyme disease specialist. Just as I suspected Aidan tested positive for tick borne infections- namely Borrelia Burgdorferi, Bartonella Henselae, and Babesia Microti. Aidan’s labwork also came back positive for streptococcus antibodies being very high. The diagnosis of PANDAS was added on to his medical concerns.

Treatment Strategies: Aidan’s mom chose to go the antibiotic route along with Klinghardt Neurotoxin elimination protocol, Klinghardt KPU (KryptoPyrole Urea) protocol, Neuro biofeedback, Homoeopathic Pleomorphic organ support and Detox.

Today Aidan, after 22 months of treatment is back to being his old self. He is getting straight A’s in school again, has many friends, feels strong and calm overall. 14 months in Aidan came up to me and said “Thank you Dr. Jodie. I am able to make friends again!”

Olivia and her brothers:

Olivia was diagnosed with mild Autism Spectrum Disorder at age 3 and ADHD at age 6. A bright and happy child, Olivia did well in school with her special education. She loved to play basketball and soccer with her brothers, and the athletic little girl would give her two older brothers a run for their money any day! Olivia had been a little sickly that year and as flu season approached her mom decided to vaccinate her. Olivia received the flu mist along with her neuro-typical brothers James and Logan.

About a week later, Olivia started gagging at meal times and developed several sensory issues around food. Soon after, 8 year old James started bedwetting and would awaken with night terrors. Around the same time 11 year old Logan developed coordination challenges with basketball and his writing skills in school. Their symptoms continued to get worse as days turned to weeks of Olivia barely able to eat, having sleep difficulties, rapid eye blinking motor tics, and development of OCD around personal hygiene routines. James had started having bladder and bowel accidents during the day along with having difficulty remembering things and poor grades in school. Logan, on the other hand, had started limping with severe leg muscle cramps, episodes of dizziness when standing up, back pain, tingling and numbness in his hands and doing poorly in school.

The entire family was devastated at this sudden and rapidly deteriorating change of events. Their mother called me a month into her ordeal with her three children having seen four different doctors – without any definitive answers. The potential vaccine connection was very obvious, and upon further investigation in the right direction, all three were diagnosed with PANDAS. Additionally, based on the fact that the family had multiple pets for many years, lived in a rural setting, and loved to hike through the woods, camp etc., I had them tested for Lyme disease. The entire family- the parents, children, and even the two family dogs – tested positive for Lyme disease and other-tick borne infections!

Treatment areas: The parents chose to pursue a combination protocol of antibiotics for the various infections and biomedical holistic protocol for detox, drainage support, herbals for hypercoagulability, homotoxicology for leaky gut and food allergies, and neurobiofeedback for help with brain fog/executive function challenges and Zyto EVOX for perceptual and emotional reframing. Today, the children are off all antibiotics, on an herbal maintenance protocol, and are doing very well academically and socially. The parents now have the time to work on their infections and healing.

Jake:

Jake was only 16 months old when I first saw him. His parents reported a sudden change in his behavior, eating difficulties, and regression in language and social skills. They were terrified he might be turning Autistic. They were determined to avoid labelling their child until after a thorough biomedical assessment and intervention. Jake had experienced chronic sinusitis since eighteen months of age and multiple ear infections. He also had a history of being colicky as an infant. When I saw Jake he was hyperactive, with low muscle tone, poor focus, was only able to say “no”, poor eye contact, visual stimming, making continuous moaning sounds and hand flapping. His mom informed me he also banged his head at home for no apparent reason.

Jake was started on a comprehensive biomedical protocol almost right away. He truly surprised everybody and almost immediately he started making fantastic progress. His digestion, bowel habits, sleep, and appetite all improved within four weeks. His eye contact, focus, and activity level made small but significant gains in a month, and in two months he had gained 65 new words according to his month’s observations! Upon further testing, lab work showed underlying infections with Streptococcus, Epstein Barr Virus, and Lyme disease. Intestinal parasites tested positive with stool tests, as did Candida.

Treatment Strategies: Heavy metals, Methylation- CBS and SHMT homozygous mutations, COMT and MTHFR A1298 heterozygous mutations, homeopathic and German Biological remedies for organ support, PANDAS, and Lymphatic drainage. Herbal remedies for candida, Lyme and parasites.

Latest update: Jake’s mom wrote:

“Speech has been the biggest change during this past month with the Lyme and parasite herbs.  He started them on March 19th and I am amazed on how much it has helped him in such a short time. Because of the increase in speech, the temper tantrums have decreased drastically. Jake is able to focus more and when he needs or wants something, he no longer screams. His new phrase is “Nope. No Thanks!” and “I need a help”. He can count backwards from 10, and has started to arrange letters in alphabetical order. He has started to follow along with the characters on his favorite TV shows instead of just “zoning out” watching TV.”

Understanding about underlying infections in children with ASD

Chronic underlying infections (Viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic) could be the cause of the illness, or could be a cofactor with other factors (Methylation, heavy metals, leaky gut) as the cause of the illness. Many of these infections are immune suppressing. ASD is now being studies as a possible neuro immune syndrome and not just a neuropsychiatric illness. Genetic predisposition, environmental exposure to epigenetic triggers (vaccines, food allergens, pesticides), and immune suppression often go hand in hand in most children diagnosed with ASD.

Symptoms associated with neuro-immune syndromes are severe food allergies and chemical sensitivity, low muscle tone, and poor healing from physical and emotional events. Testing will frequently reveal heavy metal toxicity, neurochemical deficiency, hormone deficiency, immune dysfunction, aggressive inflammation, infectious overgrowth, poor toxic clearance, and mitochondrial weakness.

Infections seen and Mechanism of Action

Some of the co-infections seen are Lyme Borrelioisis and Neuro-Borreliosis, Bartonella Henselae, Babesia Microti, Babesia Duncani, Streptococcus, mold exposure and biotoxin illness, Mycoplasma Pneumonias and more. Streptococcus infections with Group A Beta Hemolytic streptococcus have been studied to sometimes trigger an autoimmune illness called PANDAS – Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders associated with strep. Subsequently it was observed that other infections like tick borne diseases can induce molecular mimicry in the brain and cause neuro psych symptoms too and PANDAS was then renamed as PANS – Pediatric Autoimmune Neurological Syndromes.

Research reveals that tick borne infections like Lyme disease can contribute to ASD directly by their immune suppressing characteristics, and also by promoting other infections and immune dysfunction during fetal development and infancy. Shockingly, supporting data includes multiple cases of mothers with Lyme disease and children with ASD!

The Diagnosis of Lyme Disease

The good News: There are various tests that can detect Lyme disease antibodies in blood samples

The bad news: The Lyme bacteria can seriously disable the immune system, and hence many tests that do rely on an immune response can show up false negative.

The bottom line:

· Diagnosis should not be made on lab results alone

· Testing MUST be interpreted by trained clinicians and in conjunction with clinical picture

· False negative doesn’t necessarily rule out Lyme Disease

· A positive Diagnosis can often be: Just 1 or more Borrelia specific bands positive plus clinical symptoms.

Remember

Lyme Disease is called “The Great Imitator”. It’s a MULTI system illness and based on which system if affects first in the body it can mimic

· MS

· ALS

· Autism

· Fibromyalgia

· Chronic Fatigue syndrome

Co-infections to look for

· Bartonella

· Babesia

· Mycoplasmas

· Parasites

· Viruses

· Protozoa

· Strep

Some symptoms of Lyme disease in ASD

· Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

· Fatigue

· Rash

· Achy Joints and muscles

· Sleep issues

· Delayed development, even physical growth sometimes

· Poor balance

· Frequent ear or sinus infections

· Brain fog

· Irritability

· Aggression and rage

· Extreme “growing pains”

· Extreme sensory issues

· Anxiety or Depression

Additional considerations in treatment

· Heavy metals

· Intracellular infections

· Immune dysfunction

· Disruption of the Blood-Brain barrier

· Chronic inflammation –often in the gut and the brain

· Environmental Toxins and allergens

· Dietary allergies

· Biofilm

· Electro Magnetic Radiation (EMR) and Frequencies (EMF)

· Emotional and physical stress

· Mold exposure

A mom’s advice

· DON”T leave any stone unturned when you hear the Diagnosis of ASD for your child.

· Get support from positive people and filter out energy-draining, negative people

· Be aggressive with your child’s treatment

· Don’t leave yourself behind. Get treatment. Many mothers are infected too and don’t know it. Borrelia bacteria can stay dormant in a cyst form for many years.

· There is a large body of epidemiological data linking maternal infections before and during pregnancy to neurodevelopmental disorders in offspring including Autism, and schizophrenia

· Your child’s Autism may be treatable. Never lose HOPE!

· New research is emerging rapidly. Stay current!

All the very best!

Allyson McQuinn – Featured Doctors Week#Vaccines#Autism#ASD

I am thrilled to introduce Dr. Allyson McQuinn as one of this week’s Featured Doctors. Dr. McQuinn and her husband have an advanced homeopathic approach they use called, the Heilkunst Treatment.  This husband and wife team have patients they treat the globe over and know how to better the health and heal children with autism.  You will hear more about the details of their approach in the article below.

If you or a loved one have a child with ASD you will love the following story.  Very heartwarming and thrilling to see the healing that little Alexandre has received.  You can read more about this healing method in her first of ten books titled,  “The Path To Cure; The Whole Art of Healing” (www.thepathtocure.com)  I cannot wait to get my hand on this book.

Thank you Dr. Allyson for taking the time to share this precious story of Alexandre and his family.  We hope to hear more from you in the future.

Alexandre; Out of the Spectrum

I first met Alexandre on Feb. 7th, 2013.  I was invited by his mother to meet him in order to begin his Heilkunst Treatment (literally  the whole art and science for healing and curing) for Autism.  While 80% of my patients are treated by Skype, Facetime, Google Hangouts or phone, this time I had the pleasure of meeting this 5 year old in person.

When I arrived, I was greeted by Alexandre’s mom, Nicole, who also introduced me to her very vivacious and outgoing 3 year old, Zoë.  I was invited into Alexandre’s room, which is where I first observed him playing.  He did not look up to greet me, but continued playing, clearly absorbed with his trains and plastic letters.  I was completely astounded by the back of his head, bent slightly forward, and I listened to him breath in concentration.  Something felt hauntingly familiar; ‘Oh my God, he looked exactly like my own son, Jordan, at this age.’

I felt pummelled in the stomach with primal memories of my Jordan’s spectrum gestures.  I was landsliding head-long, back 17 years into what it felt like to have a child who lived in a vacuum, cut off from me, and the rest of the world.  I slowed my own breathing to match Alexandre’s as the tears threatened to choke my throat.  I very quietly and deliberately brought my leg up under me to sit on his bed.  I took out my notebook to take notes, hoping to distract myself and his mother.

It felt like my whole organizing lens was toggling back and forth between my present to my past.  I was recalling very quickly why, over the last 10 years as a Physician of Natural Medicine, that I’ve mostly referred off babes in the spectrum to my husband and fellow physician, Jeff Korentayer.  I’d been attempting to keep it clean and neat, and avoiding this exact pit of tumultuous feelings, still running riotous at my core.

Thankfully, the very familiar intake form that my Office Manager had asked Nicole to fill out prior, was before me, prompting me to start asking the requisite questions as I also tried to process my own feelings. “What’s Alexandre’s diet like? How much water does he drink?  What are his sleeping patterns? Any nightmares?  Where does he spend his days?  What are his verbal skills? When was he diagnosed?” The list went on as I scribbled notes with fervor.

I wrote down the answers and felt myself relax into Alexandre’s case while also allowing myself to feel what it felt like to never have been asked pertinent questions with regards to my own son’s case early on.  I was told by the medical doctor who’d removed the stool manually from my son’s body under general anesthetic that, “… some boys just suffer from extreme gut issues.  We don’t know what causes it, so the best we can do is manage it with drugs and diet.”  At that point, all those years ago, the terror of being trapped without a diagnosis still brings up fear and anger.  The host of alternative practitioners that we consulted offered the same nebulous non-answers, albeit their prescriptions were “more natural,” they’re results impotent.

As I watched Alexandre, I noticed how he loved to place the plastic letters in no particular order, but when Zoë came closer, he would body check her while grunting from his throat with his primal, non-verbalized dissent.  At this point, Nicole was describing how when Alexandre was 2, she was entirely in denial with regards to his developmental milestones even when he never crawled as a baby.  If he got excited, he’d express himself through pinching, biting, or pulling hair.  I recalled these same feelings in me those many years ago when Jordan did not speak, rocking back and forth in a corner instead.

As Nicole described his diet of pizza, fries, and chicken nuggets, I did not judge her in any way, as my own son would literally have starved himself of any food if I did not comply with his wishes.  Watermelon and raw carrots were the only fruit and vegetable that he would eat at the time.  When I tried making chicken fingers from scratch with almond meal instead of flour, they were launched across the room to hit the wall with a resounding “pwouff,” and then sliding down to lay lifeless on the floor; his anger and my anger intertwined.

In addition to Alexandre’s “ASD”, he’d suffered bouts of ear pain, eczema, a marked hearing deficit, sinus issues, and a chronic cough.  I went back to my office to formulate his medicines, knowing I was armed with the arsenal that would launch this babe out of the spectrum efficiently and quickly using the principles of Heilkunst Medicine.  I prepared his Emotional Support Dropper with homeopathic remedies and flower essences that would help to stabilize him constitutionally, while also stripping the excess.  In addition, I also made up his Drainage and Organ Support Dropper to begin the process of detoxing his physical body from toxins and heavy metals, while also supporting his organs and lymphatic system.  This enabled me to set the stage for clearing each issue from his timeline of traumas, including the the use of antibiotics, a car accident, running into a busy street from daycare, his boosters, vaccinations, and birth.

After these events, I knew that I would have access to his Genetic Miasms based on the law of the succession of forces.  Every individual has these in their cellular memory based on a few thousand years of human evolution, layered like a geological dig.  It’s just a matter of which ones predominate, throwing up unwanted symptoms.  Buried in each one of us is the predisposition for skin afflictions (Psora), bronchial complaints (Tuberculinum), heart disease (Medhorrinum), cancer, joint/tendon issues, and autism (Syphilis).  These Genetic Miasms (there are 8 all together), unfortunately, never go away unless cured on the basis of natural law, “like cures like”.  Vaccinations can trigger some of them, or all of them, to start wreaking havoc.

Over 15 years ago, the same Heilkunst medical path, with few variances, was followed for my son, Jordan, who was cured within the year of his own spectrum issues.  Today, at almost 20, he is a trampoline acrobat and Parkour Instructor, as well as a Bowen Practitioner (soft tissue modality) with his own growing practice.  No one, meeting him, would ever suspect he’d ever been in the spectrum.  I’m so thankful for the principles of Heilkunst Medicine or he’d never have realized his essential self.  So many children have now been cured by these foundational principles by the just over one hundred Practitioners world-wide.

Six months ago, and six months into treatment, Nicole cited, “What brought me to see Allyson is my beautiful, non verbal autistic 5 year old son, Alexandre. I needed to figure this out! I was not settling for what we were dealing with at the time. We still have leaps and bounds to go, but he is growing, I can see light bulbs turning on left and right and he is here with us so much more than he used to be!

We started our journey in early February, he has been a trooper with everything I’ve thrown at him. He asks for his drops if I haven’t given them at the appropriate time, if we’re due for an appointment, his body tells us! Simply amazing. He is now speaking at the rate of a 2 year old, repeating everything and now using small sentences! It’s a start and I’m aching for more!”

Fast forward to March 2014, one full year into treatment, and here is Nicole’s testimonial:

“One year into this journey and my son is a different person, he still has a delay in verbal communication, however, he knows how to get his point across and mimics almost every word that leaves my lips.  Just this morning I was trying to get them into the car to leave for daycare, I told him to “get in the car” in a bit of a demanding tone, he repeated using a very similar influx in his tone.  I beamed and was high fiving myself and him in my head.

I still ache for more!

Being the non-confrontational person I am, I avoid conversations of vaccines and different therapies, that others have a huge opinion on.  That said, I do not hide the treatment plan that we’ve discovered through Ally.  I run a blog and facebook page named “The LeBlanc’s vs Autism”, on this page, I do share some of our treatment plan and the great success that we have had through it.
Alexandre has received all vaccines that the doctors suggest his tender 6 year old body is “supposed” to,  Zoë however will not.  I do not regret the choices I have made, I wish I had known the truth about allopathic medicine before I vaccinated the crap out of my babies.  I thought I was protecting them, and this is what happened.

I still am not sure if the vaccines caused his Autism, but I do know that since we have gone to see Ally, our world has changed.  He still has a limited diet, but he loves water more than any other beverage, and he is open to have a sprig of broccoli on his plate now and then.  We’ve grown together, I have changed, he has changed and Zoë is now on board with her own droppers and paper hearts.  I know without a doubt that I am helping my family and keeping them safe and protected without causing an ounce of pain.

Thank you Ally for coming into our lives.  We genuinely love you and how much you have taught us.”

At this juncture, a year and one month later, Alexandre has many words in his vocabulary and continues to progress on all levels of his cognition.  He interacts well with other children and his family members and his grandparents and relatives have written notes to me acknowledging his leaps and gains with regards to becoming a more engaged and communicative child.  Alexandre is just halfway through his first round of Genetic Miasms.  I’m just imagining where he’ll be in another few months!
